What a find! Loved our stay at this fabulous lodge. Everything you need is on hand and more. Hot tub is amazing especially after a lovely walk up Alva Glen and surrounding areas. James is a very accommodating host. Thank you! We’ll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very quiet place and great for relaxing, lodge itself was presented tidy and clean, hot tub was great, the homely touches such as a hairdryer, netflix, cooking oil, sugar, teabags, washing up liquid, dishtowels etc I was actually surprised about as we have been to a few lodges and they haven’t been stocked like that, definitely would return, there is a river just beside as well that you can walk down beside with a small waterfall which was lovely as well

The whole process of identifying, booking arriving and having all information at hand was excellent and straightforward.We were kept updated throughout our journey and stay.The Lodge was clean and extremely well equipped.We couldn’t think of anything that was not there and the ‘Welcome Basket’ was greatly appreciated especially the ‘Wine’ by my Wife in the Hot Tub.Lots of local information available and useful.Overall, the location and price were excellent.We will definitely stay again and have already recommended it to our seven children.Thank you.

Amazing family time

When we arrived we were blown away with the scenery driving down the hill towards the lodge park. When we arrived at the gates it was beautiful. The lodge was spotless and heating had already been set so it was very cosy. The hot tub was the icing on the cake to chill and relax after venturing out. Dollar glen trails have breathtaking views which i would recommend to anyone visiting!! Originally booked for 2 nights but messaged James on our last night and booked to stay an extra night. Will definitely be back!!

Relaxation and tranquility

The Lodge was well equipped and more for what we needed...set in such a quiet location but absolutely beautiful considering i was only 30mins away from home....beautiful walks for the dog our labrador loved it...only thing i would say not much in the town but i was happy being at the lodge with hot tub....james was a gr8 host and easy contactable if any problems occured much 2 our delight we had no problems and would definitely be back

Fabulous

The lodge was brilliantly awesome, very clean, cosy, everything you'll need for your stay and more, the hot tub is a great feature to have for the lodge, it just made it so much more special, it's extremely quiet, lots of walks.cant fault it.
