"This is a bit of a different hotel experience for some. Hotel is in downtown area VERY convenient to public transportation, bars, restaurants and other options. A terrific location and value. The room was very small and spartan. More suited to a short than extended stay. A room to crash and clean up before you set out on Chicago. Not luxurious/plush in any way, but has what a traveler needs and a great location."

"They offer parking for a fee but they share the parking garage so it is first come first serve. No guarantee that after you pay for the room you can park your car. Had to find a parking garage on my own for double the cost offered at the hotel. The building needs a total remodel."

"Front desk staff was excellent! The room I was assigned was too small, I when to talk to the young lady, explained my situation and she kindly gave us a bigger room. I'm very pleased with our stayed! The only down side was the next morning, the staff at the bfast coffee shop, she was unpleasant, rude, and acted like it we were making her day miserable. Beside that our stay was great. Location is excellent!"

"The location was ideal for staying downtown. The Lyft/Uber pickups and dropoffs were easy. The area around the hotel felt very safe. We did enjoy having drinks at the bar in the hotel.
The atmosphere of the room was a letdown. Walking into the room for the first time, you don't get a warm, cozy feeling. The room was clean and well serviced. The closet doors were annoying because they are very heavy and don't stay open easily and close hard.
The lobby is dark, small, and unattractive.
I thought...
