"This place is clean, convenient to the highway and attractions in nearby Bern, and has excellent sunset views (we were there in May). Parking is easy and there is a bus stop directly across the street. We even found an outstanding Italian restaurant for dinner and a nice bakery for breakfast within walking distance.Conversely, the beds are just ok. A little soft and low for our tastes and the AC could not be adjusted. We found it warm at night."

"The home was amazing. We were met at check in and given a tour of the grounds and the house along with the history of the chateau, the frescos, furniture, and books. We were surprised by the beautiful welcome gift of local cheeses, yogurts, jellies, and wine all of which were enjoyed during our stay. "This was a great VRBO for us. The house was just as expected. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a pleasant walking distance from the train station and the downtown area that had many great restaurants. Murten was a perfect hub for our trip. We explored a lot of the Bern area and it was so nice to return to quiet Murten. We spent our mornings exploring this beautiful town and our evenings enjoying the wonderful restaurants. Easy check-in and out and great communication....
