"The Lockkeeper in Worksop is a good, straightforward option if you are looking for a budget stay. It delivers exactly what it promises for the price. While the amenities are basic, the shower is simple, and there are no frills, the cleanliness was great and gave me no concerns at all. "Despite the large rooms, the hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The beds are overdue to be replaced. Lots of piling on them and they didn’t have a fitted sheet. You could feel the bumps of the older mattress through the sheet that was on top of the bed. The sheet on top of the bed didn’t cover the entire mattress. "Checked in, straight to our room, we were tired from the long journey so tried to get to sleep. However found dirty marked sheets that looked like a skid mark. Black bits on the flat sheet. Three unspecified stains on the carpet, one which was bright pink. A used nicotine snuz that was dry so would’ve been there a while that was near the bed. Blood marks near the toilet roll in the bathroom and the bathroom door was coming off its hinges."
