"Staff is super hospitable and helpful. Property seems fresh and well maintained. The view from reception is amazing. The kitchen has tasty food at a decent price. Had a overall good experience Minor Cons: The pool is in a different building. There were no towels available. Had to walk back drenched to my room from another building. The main market is 1.5km away."

"Hotel Samudra has a sea view room exactly like the picture but there were laundry sheets everywhere next to the lift on the first floor. No toilet roll and soap in the toilet. So average. But it's local to everything. Walking distance to the temple and the boat."

"Chakra cottage had aesthetic interiors and very spacious even for a couple with small kids. Seeing sunrise in the lake from the portico was wonderful. Staff were really courteous and friendly. Spa was great too. Overall it was a lovely peaceful experience just an hour drive from Thiruvananthapuram. "

"Good to stay if you have own vehicle. So travel in around there."

"Room was ok. Please consider adding a protective net or shielding for balcony due to Dove waste falling in ac fan. It can be a health hazard. Food was great."

"The staff were amazing and very helpful, but the property itself is quite old and needs better maintenance. The bathroom doors could not be locked, which was inconvenient. Another major issue was the hot water. We had to waste nearly 15 buckets of water before getting heated water, which is unacceptable. They also mentioned that complimentary breakfast was included, but the food was brought from outside and the portion was very limited—just 2 idlis and 1 dosa. Overall, the staff were...
