"Booked through Expedia so there was trouble finding my booking. Staff sorted the problem out though. Items in room were missing, but again staff resolved this. Hotel is tired and needs a spruce up. Worth the price I paid for the night (was discounted) I wouldn't stay here at full price. Staff are the best thing about the hotel"

"We always choose this hotel to stay in the night before we fly off on holiday. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable and we have always had a good night's sleep here. Dinner was excellent and free shuttle to terminal a real plus point when you have luggage."

"Good location in Deansgate. Room was small but had everything we needed for a two night stay. If you skip housekeeping on your first night then you can a drinks voucher for the bar but you need to put the hanger on the door the night before; I feel like a lot of people miss out on this deal because you don't look at it until the morning. "The Wilde Aparthotel was absolutely wonderful! It’s very centrally located, near Chinatown, St Peter’s Square, The Manchester Art Museum, and many great pubs and restaurants. The staff were terrific. We left our luggage in the luggage room on the day we checked out and had a convenient place to store it. Tip: Spring for the large, corner rooms w/ separate bedroom and living area/ kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped and we made breakfast every morning."

"It was my first time at The Midland and I will be back. The location is great, the staff are exceptional, and the food and drinks were perfect. The room was very nice, though we only had a standard room. The only thing I thought was unfair was paying £10 to use the pool for one hour; this should be part of the stay. It put us off using the pool simply because we felt it was just another money-making scheme. I do not mind paying for services, but I do not like being ripped off or having surprises...
