"About as good as the photos show. The carpet was dirty and needs to be replaced. There were some bugs (doors are exterior so to be expected, I guess?), but no bed bugs. Sheets seemed clean. There was a spider and web over one bed. Queen beds (2) were each up against a wall or window on one side, so small. Everything was very old and smelled old. We think the paint on the outside is new. The woman who runs the motel is very sweet and we can tell she’s trying hard. Making updates where she can....

"The Rose Suite at The Poppyseed Inn is lovely as is the shared space between the two suites! It was perfect for my husband and me on our one-night stay on our way to The Cities. The space is cozy, warm, and welcoming and had everything we needed and more. There is an amazing bakery across the street and delicious dining within walking distance. Aga, our host, was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. Highly recommend, and we will for sure stay there again! Thank you so...

So no reviews on the outdoor activiites. It was appropriate and roomy and had extra blankets and pillows too. Host did a great job communicating with us. "
