Vintage Boutique Cottage In Deal, Kent - Couples, family & pet friendly

Vintage boutique cottage in Deal is a cosy Victorian terraced property set in the northern quarter of the historic Conservation Area of Deal. On a charming quiet street with easy access to Deal's award winning High Street, the beach and public transport links the cottage is perfectly located. The cottage is decorated in a subtle seaside style with locally sourced vintage pieces. This cottage is well equipped and comfortable.

There are two bedrooms including a master king and a back twin bedroom. A travel cot can fit in either bedroom. The family bathroom is on the same level as the bedrooms. There is a paved courtyard with a bistro table set and weber bbq.

When not out and about enjoying our beautiful coast, countryside and castles guests can relax with a book from our book basket, steam a Now movie, watch a DVD and/or make use of the free wi-fi. Young children can play with the supplied toys, games and books and there are even a couple of microscooters to borrow. A travel cot can be provided as well as other baby/toddler equipment on request (highchair, travel cot, plastic cutlery, beakers, plates etc).

On your doorstep is Deal's vibrant award winning high street with its delis, restaurants, coffee shops, vintage shops and weekly markets. Days out can be spent on coastal walks beach combing or exploring our two Henry VIII castles. Browse for antique collectables or take a high speed rib out to the Godwin Sands to see the resident seals. For golfers there are local Championship courses that include Royal Cinque Ports and Royal St. Georges.

With its Georgian seafront,1950s pier, pebble shoreline and independent shops Deal is a great destination at any time of the year. Deal is located between Sandwich and Dover and is loved by those who have discovered it. The cathedral city of Canterbury a UNESCO World Heritage Site is a 30 minute drive away.

Long weekend in Deal

Great location, very close to the sea and the town. Also provided oat milk and vegan cake for arrival which was much appreciated. The one negative is having to pay for parking which was not mentioned on the listing.

Lovely cottage in good location

Enjoyed our stay in Deal, cottage had everything we needed and is close to the beach and shops for convenience. Lots of things to do and see nearby and all had a good relaxing break.

Cosy and Stylish

We enjoyed a short break here - very close to the town centre and 5mins walk to the beach. The cottage is small but nicely laid out and furnished. Very comfortable with a small back courtyard. A welcome pack of supplies and a great location to tour the area

Lovely family break!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this charming fisherman’s cottage in Deal, such a perfect find for my partner and I and our twin toddlers. The place was clean, comfy and stocked with a box of toys our girls loved. It’s a stone’s throw from the beach, and near to all amenities. We wish we’d stayed longer! Thanks Claire! 😊

Interesting Deal

Excellent visit. The cottage is conveniently placed for all areas . Coastal walks, Deal Castle and the Town. Lots of information in the cottage 're the local area ie restaurants, places to visit etc cottage had all the utensils and white goods we required. Cottage was clean, beds were comfortable .There was a large bathroom which was also clean and very functional . All rooms furnished tastefully. Altogether a lovely break would recommend to friends

Great little cottage in a great location in the heart of town and close to the beach.

Le cottage est très mignon et fonctionnel parfait pour un court séjour ou même des vacances. C'est exactement comme sur le descriptif et les photos. A notre arrivée, nous avions de très jolies attentions (déco de Noël, crackers, plus tout ce qu'il faut pour prendre un thé ou café, livres DVD...) Idéal pour visiter la jolie ville de Deal, son pier, son centre ville et les environs (Canterburry, Sandwich...). Accueil très chaleureux de Claire même si elle n'était pas sur place, elle est très facilement joignable et disponible. Just loved it and already telling all my friends about the place .Thank you very much. We really appreciated your lovely place.

Nice little cottage, great location.

A lovely property, clean and well presented. Deal itself is a great little town with everything you need on your doorstep. The only downside we found was lack of parking near the cottage (hence 4 stars). Thanks for having us!

charming coastal cottage

The cottage is ideally located close to shops and the seafront. Inside is very tastefully decorated and very clean with nice personal touches from the owner.It is also more spacious than it looks from the outside.Although there are parking restrictions outside the cottage, we did not experience any problems finding a place to move the car to. Deal itself is a lovely little town with lots of places to eat or stop for coffee.Happy to recommend the cottage for a quiet stay by the sea.

Charming cottage in Deal Kent...

We stayed at this lovely cottage whilst moving house from Deal to Scotland. We had stayed in Claire's cute little cottage in Sandwich last summer and loved it, so when I saw that she owned this holiday cottage it was a no brainer. Claire is wonderful at getting the balance right in self catering. The only complaint I have and it's minor, is the sofa in the lounge is not comfortable. Most folks will be spending their time exploring Deal to notice it, but I did. It's the kind of sofa that uni students have. Other than that, Claire is the accomplished stylist. The decor is beachy cottage and it is comfortable. Stay here you won't be disappointed!
