LOVED the wood fire (with back up split system) kept the cabin warm. Access (with code) was VERY easy and there was PLENTY of parking.

This cottage was a nice and cosy getaway for me and my family. The wood fire with plenty of wood was a nice addition keeping as warm as the weather was quite rainy. The cottage was well stocked with additions thst make a difference that is t always the case eg toilet paper, plenty of dish liquid, bin liners, hand wash, shampoo and conditioner. A comfy stay with the family thanks!

We were looking forward to a spa bath. But the bath looked too dirty to use. No powerpints in bathroom. Bathroom & toilet fans, obviously too old, as they sounded like helicopters. Beds comfy & rest ok. Also we left an item behind, sentvtext to owner, got no reply. No impressed.

Everything you need

We stayed here for a girls spa weekend and it had everything we needed. Great location and had everything we needed. We had a tiny issue at check-in that the owner went over and above to fix - even swapping us to a different cabin to make sure we were fully accommodated. Absolutely recommend this place.

The cottage was comfortable and cosy, in close proximity to the Bathhouse. The fireplace was a welcome addition for a cold night. Steps to the entryway were a bit rickety, causing some issues for my daughter who has mobility concerns. Oven trays would have been useful for cooking our Christmas dinner. Overall, the place was quiet, relaxing and fairly well equipped.

A quiet and comfortable place for a family holiday with my dog. Would be perfect if the pergola could be enclosed by a small gate at the stairs to stop the dog to get out.

Lovely quiet, secluded spot. Very much enjoyed our time listening to the native birds. Dogs loved to frolic in the open space.

Property was convenient to the springs and a short drive to Daylesford . Older style unit but spacious and comfortable and dog friendly!

Weekend getaway

Was a beautiful place to stay vey quite and had the whole place to our self the only downside was a tree was rubbing on the roof the whole night due to high wind and was making a horrible noise all night and the bed was hard. Apart from that it was a great little place

Good for our needs. Liked being able to walk to the Springs. Easy access to other towns that we wanted to visit. We are pretty easy going and it suited our needs. Kids enjoyed the large TV!

I think the photos give the impression that this property is a little more "together" than it actually is. Whilst the bed linen and towels were on point and the bedding itself very comfortable, I'm afraid everything else was old, tired and mismatched making it feel more like someone else's holiday shack than simple cottage. The equipment in the kitchen is mismatched and hodge-podge and very minimal. Bring everything if you plan on cooking here, including utensils and oil etc. No milk was supplied (disappointing), however an open and used carton of milk was left in the fridge. Can't complain about the quality of the television but because it is so ridiculously oversized, the layout of the lounge area is dictated by where the screen will fit. This renders use of the fireplace impractical because of where one of the couches had to be placed. The smaller of the two couches has a massive tear in the backrest and a broken spring in the seat. Pets are allowed in this property and we were grateful for that and perhaps it's been left a little, and the other cottages are better, I don't know. It's not terrible, it's just a little under what we were expecting, even for basic.

Cosy and welcoming

We just wanted a little place all to ourselves that felt warm and homely and this place did that for us. The log fire keeps the cottage toasty warm and the autumn leaves all around us was beautiful. The steps up can be slippery in the wet but that was to be expected with where the cottages were and with all the trees surrounding them.

This is the most terrible place to stay. No deep clean undertaken in ann extremely long time. Only surface clean. Cottage smelt of old fat and cooking. The bbq was unusable it was that disgusting. There was cat pee still smelling near the bed. The only good thing was the linen was clean. The owner has no care and no interest in coming to the party to provide a refund. Never stay here ever.
