They're kind of adorable as I'd never seen them before in person, but they can ruin a good afternoon nap 😉 Also there's at least 5 tattoo shops nearby. Toa Baja is about 30 minutes from San Juan, I'd highly recommend a rental car. Using ride share services is an option, but a rental suited my needs better for sight seeing...

"This was a great choice for my family of 4. The hot tub, pool, swim up bar, pool kitchen (highly recommend the cheeseburger) and free breakfast was wonderful. Also very nice to be walking distance to Isla Verde beach (one of my favorites now) with complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas (ask for coupon at desk). Walkable to other restaurants and rental car places as well. Checkout at noon was great and we were able to keep luggage behind desk before our flight out. Fabulous service as well and...
