"Excellent accommodation in an old building, loved the slopey floors and low ceilings. Luxury bathroom with bath and spacious shower. Great location, had a lovely meal in the Angel a 2 minute walk away, proper pub! Hosts were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Overall fantastic place to stay"

"Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area"

"We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...
