    The Space:

    You'll have no trouble unwinding at this lovely, dog-friendly home in Pacific City, offering ocean views, a private hot tub, entertainment, and easy beach access to up to 12 guests.



    Located conveniently close to the beach, as well as the restaurants and shops downtown, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds on this trip! Walk up the beach a short distance to Cape Kiwanda for stunning vistas. Bring the dogs, too - they're welcome for an additional nightly pet fee.



    The home itself is warm and cozy, with thoughtful beach decor providing color throughout. Multiple living areas offer comfy furniture for relaxing - one with a fireplace for quiet time, and another with a flatscreen TV for watching DVDs and more (cable and free WiFi included). There are also board games and books for your pleasure. And for a little nostalgic fun, enjoy the arcade style game system with classic games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Galaga!



    Cook whatever you'd like in the open kitchen, which is fully equipped with all the essentials plus extras like a waffle iron, blender, mixer, coffeemaker, and dishwasher. Nine can dine together at the dining table in the center of the room, and there's also patio furniture outside.



    Between two large decks, you'll have plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the ocean view. There's a gas grill for cooking and your family dog will appreciate a place for fresh air (please note a small, nightly pet fee) and a private hot tub. The beach is just across the street.



    A gathering room upstairs is great for drinks and games, with a mini-fridge, raised table, futon, and fireplace (this room can be used as a bedroom if needed). A private washer/dryer allows you to take care of any laundry you may have.



    There are three bedrooms in this home - two feature a queen bed with a TV and full private bath, while the last offers a two twin-over-queen bunk beds, an air hockey table, and a flatscreen TV. Up to 12 guests will sleep comfortably here, including some with limited mobility, as you'll find everything you need on the first floor.



    This house is perfect for a family or group of friends - enjoy classic beach activities steps from the house, or wander to either Cape Kiwanda or Bob Straub State Park for a fun excursion and beautiful sights. Opportunities to stand-up paddleboard and kayak are possible on the Nestucca River, and a number of delicious dining options are nearby.

Great location and view. Kids loved the upstairs and hot tub. When we arrived, the bedspread was dirty but I text the property manager and they came right away to swap it out and even had a propane tank on hand to swap the empty on at the gas fire pit. I was very impressed with the quick response.

Beach Blessings

We had 4 teen girls and a couple adults staying 2 nights. It was the best location we have ever stayed at. The beach was just across the street, lots of beach play. Close to the restaurants and stores of Pacific City and a very quiet neighborhood that felt safe. The firepit and hot tub were an added joy as well as the 3 deer that quietly walked across the yard and onto the beach. We will definitely be back!!

Love this house and the layout, especially the two master bedrooms with their own toilet and shower. Also the Crow's nest was awesome,except we couldn't get the tv to work. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was sparkling clean. Hot tub worked well. The beds were small, but comfortable.

Very disappointing. Will not return w/o improvements.The Good: * It’s a large house that can comfortably host 10 people. * It’s got a fun design so everyone doesn’t need to be on top of each other. * Great location across the street to the beach.The Bad: * It was dirty. Dust, and cobwebs all over the house. Have dust allergies, wear a mask. Especially the high areas.* The mattresses on the queen beds were terrible. Saggy, bouncy, it’s like they were original from the 1980’s.* The internet is terrible. Don’t plan to work from here or stream. Constantly dropping service.* The hot tub. We booked this house specifically because it had a hot tub. We arrived and the water was so low the hot tub was inoperable because the pump inlet was out of the water. I added water and of course it dropped the temp to 90 deg. No hot tub the first night. The next day it was up to temp and enjoyed a morning soak. Arrived back in the evening and the water level had dropped again. Not as bad but more water to get the jets back under water, another water add dropped the temp and no soak. The host company was quick to respond, and were polite. But never reached out for resolution.

First of all the location is AMAZING. This house is great. If the owners and the caretakers would just put a little effort into this home it would be a standout.This is in a community and when we checked in we were not given the code to the gate to the community. It took over two hours for someone to get back to us with the code and finding the phone number is very challenging.The house needs a really good clean. The bathrooms and beds were clean but you can tell that they clean what they need to clean to turn over the house and not the whole house. You can write your name in the dust on the shelves.This house has a ton of tvs, dvd & vhs players. The problem is that many of them don't work. The remotes don't work, the dvd players don't work but they're all plugged in like they do. It's frustrating. Also, some instructions on how to use the cable boxes would be helpful.That being said they house is very cool with all the different levels, it allows dogs and is right off the beach. I would definitely stay here again. I just think that property management company needs to do a walk through and see what's happened to it.

The location was wonderful, basically across the street from the beach. Everyone enjoyed walking along the trails to Pacific City restaurants, shops, and Pelican Brewery. The house was satisfactory for 9 people, 5 adults and 4 children. We used the hot tub, the gas fired pit table, the and barbecue. The kids played on the arcade machine and foosball table. There were two issues one of which took some time to resolve. Firstly a pack 'n play listed as an amenity was nowhere to be found. Several calls, texts, emails finally produced one after 24 hours. Secondly, a wet, dark, and odorous stain in one of the bedrooms was found upon arrival. A request for a review of housekeeping findings at that time did not transmit due to having a pic attached. I hope the stain has since been addressed.

Great location, well stocked, needs a deep clean

Wonderful home layout, very close to beach and ocean. Well stocked with toiletries, towels and kitchen items. The house, floors and furniture could use a serious deep clean and maintenance inspection. Food and trash in the furniture, cobwebs and dust, dirty floors. One window wouldn’t close and lock, one sliding door wouldn’t open at all and the other didn’t lock. On arrival I swept about half a gallon of sand off the tile floors, which I felt was excessive if had been cleaned prior to arrival. It is a pet friendly home but there was dog hair everywhere. We weren’t expecting to have to clean our vacation rental before we could get comfortable and enjoy our vacation.

So, So stay

The house was kinda dirty but, the bathrooms were super clean.There was a moldy smell in the kitchen. There are 3 or 4 DVD players and only one of them worked. There is no netflix or other streaming services and the movie selection was good if you love late 80's early 90's no name titles. All of the remotes had dead batteries or no batteries. The door knobs were falling off, getting in the front door was difficult. There was sand in the hot tub, the front door screen wont stay open. The upper deck screen is falling off. All of the dishes are kinda musty and to be honest for what we paid it was extremely disappointing.The positives, it was close to the beach, great parking and the view from the deck was beautiful. Lots of towels, the deck chairs were amazing. The kids loft was perfect for all the kids. Plenty of bathrooms and ample room for our large family. difficult.

Deep Cleaning Desperately Needed

The house itself, the layout and location is amazing. However the house has an odor that immediately hits you the second you walk in, and all of us felt like it’s mold. The floors would wipe up with dirt, we took a towel to wipe up a little water that was spilled on the tile and it came up brown. All the windows were filthy, the first thing we did was try to open the windows because of the smell.After being there for 4 days, the odor is the most prominent in the mud room/kitchen. We had to purchase candles to burn throughout the house and glade scented wall plug ins for the bedrooms in order to sleep. There was a massive stain in one of the main bedrooms that continued to seep water. When property management came to check it out they said it was from the previous guest and the carpet is “wet” because they cleaned it. Throughout our stay the carpet got worse and worse. We tried to put food on top of the fridge because it’s not very tall and would have saved counter space. Couldn’t do it, the top of the fridge was filthy.We did notify property management when we received a text asking how clean the house was when we arrived and I rated it a 2, and sent pictures.

This house was SO BAD THAT WE LEFT after one night! We know a beach home allowing pets will have wear and tear, stains and sand, carpet spots, etc. We have 4 kids and aren’t germaphobes, but what we encountered was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. We immediately noticed that the cleaning crew hadn’t cleaned much because there was food/crumbs/sand on the table surfaces. I ran to go buy a few cleaning supplies (none there)to attempt to make it livable for everyone, as we tried to make the most of it. The couches were had garbage and food in them and were broken so we couldn’t all sit together. The bathrooms had urine on the walls and doors, curtains & shower liners were moldy, the bedspreads had food remnants. We had to wash all of them before we went to bed. There was a big brown oozing wet spot on the carpet (maybe sewage backup or a large pet accident), but it was soaking and clearly not attempted to be cleaned. Lots of mold around the showers. My son brought me a pillowcase that had a puke/spit-up substance, indicating the bunkbed sheets weren’t washed. It was beyond disgusting. The silverware & dishes were dirty with food on them. We honestly tried to suck it up, but it was just too much. The urine smell was so strong it was hard to sleep.The trip was for my mom who just finished chemo & we had to leave the 2nd day, w/no homes available . I’ve NEVER left a bad review or LEFT a vacation home! Honestly felt like a nightmare! Trying to get refunded is exhausting.

We loved this beach rental home. Has something for everyone. Kids enjoyed the fusbol and arcade games. Adults loved the outdoor balcony with plenty of seating and glorious views. The hot tub was clean and hot. We had a problem getting the fire pit going and sent an email. The management company was right on it and got it working the same day. We will look to stay here again.

The place was great. Hot tub was cold when we got there but by the second morning it was up to temperature. The tvs need updated they had no way to access netflix, prime ect. Also the dvd player stopped working like to nights in. Other than that it was great.

Love the house

The set up of the house is beyond: it’s great! The house wasn’t as clean as I would Expect for the price lots of cobwebs and dust. The “sun room” at the top was my favorite. Sadly the door to the upper deck is very broken so it had to stay closed most of the time cause it’s very heave and metal. A few deck beams where broken too so hot safe for kids until repaired. Overall we loved the house. The maintenance man had attitude cause the house wasn’t cleaned or the hot tub. These minor details can be easily addressed at minimal cost. Hopefully it’ll be fixed wnd cleaner when we return
