10 minute walk to a private neighborhood path down the sand dunes to Hardings Beach. The perfect peaceful getaway.

Classic, clean, peaceful cape cod home in a quiet, safe, family neighborhood. Home has been completely remodeled with granite countertops, Anderson windows, wide pine floors, and new furnishings. Lots of living space in the living/dining areas and on the deck, overlooking the back yard. Updated kitchen with all stainless appliances. Central air conditioning. High speed internet and WIFI helps you stay connected as well. Downstairs first floor queen size bedroom, and full bathroom. Upstairs king size bedroom, another full bathroom, and a third bedroom with bunk beds, and a day bed that pulls out into a king size. Beautiful seashell driveway with seashell paths leading to the outdoor shower, hammock and deck overlooking the grassy backyard which is big enough for ball-playing or bean-bag toss, etc. Friends and family members will enjoy the peaceful walks by the ocean. Entertain on the back deck with gas grill. Parents will appreciate the peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood. Walk past nine houses to arrive at the private neighborhood path over the sand dunes to Hardings Beach.
You can also walk to Barn Hill Landing where you can watch lobster boats, or fish from the dock. Rent kayaks and paddleboards on the scenic ocean harbor of Oyster Pond, which leads to Chatham Village. Bright, sunny rooms make this the perfect, peaceful beach retreat!

Sleeps 8~~One King, One Queen, Twin Bunks, Trundle Day Bed that converts to king size, and Double Pull out sofa.

While renting this property, you can walk 1/5th of a mile to Hardings Beach within the private neighborhood, and follow the path over the sand dunes down to the beach. Hardings beach has a lifeguard during the summer months, and is safe for young children. There are few waves at this beach and the water is relatively warm because it is protected by the Nantucket Sound. Kids will have fun catching sand crabs, following the sand dune paths and building sand castles. You don't have the extreme low tides and high tides you can experience on the Bay side of Cape Cod. You can swim, fly a kite, or walk on the beach for a mile to Oyster River or to Stage Harbor Lighthouse. This beach is surrounded by Cape Cod sand dunes and the beach and ocean-side neighborhood are beautiful and peaceful

Thanksgiving in Chatham

This is our third year staying at Linda and Keith’s home and it never disappoints. The house is in a convenient location and only a short walk to the beach. It’s perfect for our family. Hope to return again next year!!

Lovely location

Great location. It really was an easy, short walk to the beach! Comfortable, clean house. Only complaint was that kitchen didn’t have counter space, so it was difficult to prepare meals.

Really wonderful stay at this lovely Cape home. Everything was clean, appeared just as pictured and was so comfortable. Loved that towels and linens were included, as well as all the beach gear. Communications with the host were easy and quick. Thanks so much for a great week!

Great vacation property

Linda and Keith’s vacation property in Chatham was great and exactly as listed! They were both extremely friendly and communicative as hosts, and made check-in/check-out very easy! Highly recommend staying here.

Nice and cosy home in walking distance to the beach

We - a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys and our 2 dogs -were staying in April for a couple of days. Communication with Linda was easy and efficient, we were very well instructed. The house is well located in a calm area of Chatham within a 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. Restaurants and shops were nearby. The house was cosy, clean and everything you wish for having great vacations was available. There were 3 bedrooms, one of those sleeps 3 kids. Two bathrooms, kitchen, livingroom, everything perfect. We really want to thank Linda and Keith for our perfect stay at their home. We'll be back.

Thanksgiving 2023

Great location and lovely home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is in a great location with easy access to Harding’s Beach. It’s also a short ride into Chatham. The house is cozy and comfortable, very clean and well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed a “bicycle built for two” that the hosts made available!

Wonderful week!

This house is in the perfect location for beach going, dining,, and just enjoying the week away! The property is clean and inviting. We had one issue with the door lock mechanism, but it was quickly addressed by the owners. Everything we could have wanted or needed was on site which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would not hesitate to stay in this lovely home again should we return to Cape Cod! Thank you Keith and Linda for all the attention paid to making our visit easy and relaxing!
