Spectacular Modern at the Beach!

One block to the beach. Five blocks to the Village of Carlsbad.

Just one block from the sand! Modern Contemporary finishes - commercial appliances, natural gas BBQ, high efficiency heating and air conditioning, 55' Smart TV, and super-fast, reliable internet/wi-fi.

The suite is fully furnished, and the kitchen is fully equipped. We provide all linens and beach towels. We also have beach chairs, beach umbrellas, Boogie Boards, sand toys which are shared with other renters. We always have plenty of extras in our inventory if needed.

There is no carpeting -- just luxurious porcelain floors. Slab quartz counters, European Hans Grohe Rain Showers, washer and dryer in unit. Did we mention the game room? Pinball, video games, Foosball and shuffleboard.

The Wave Suite (2 bedroom/2 bath) may be rented independently or combined with the Wind Suite (1 bedroom/1 bath) to create a 3 bedroom/3 bath suite.

There is no smoking and no pets allowed anywhere on the property.


Great location! Walk to restaurants, the charming Village shops, the farmers' market and nightlife are all nearby!

Day Trips to: Legoland - San Diego Zoo - Sea World - San Diego Wild Animal Park - Disneyland - La Jolla Cove - casinos - wineries in Temecula

the dwelling was nice, hard to regulate the temps in rooms. it was not a 3min walk to the beach as stated. their were barriors up and could not walk directly to the beach.

This property was perfect for our family trip to Carlsbad! The unit was well appointed with everything we needed for our beach weekend. Our three teen boys loved the game room and the access to beach equipment and toys was especially appreciated. The property was within walking distance to the Carlsbad Village restaurants and shops. We would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a trip to Carlsbad!

awesome walk and go location!

This clean and modern vibed place is perfect for a visit. We enjoyed the easy check in and comfortable beds. The location made our visit to Carlsbad perfect! We took walks by the beach, and walked to breakfast.Eye masks could be helpful for sleep due to some lights/ outdoor lights. We hope to return again! Thank you!

Wave in Carlsbad

We spent 5 days / 4 nights recently at the Wave vrbo. It was exceptionally clean throughout and was available a tad early for us. We had the opportunity to meet the property managers who made us feel extremely welcome. I have just a couple rather immaterial suggestions…add tissues, sugar packets, and creamers to your list of what you offer. I believe they would have been given to us if we’d asked about them, but we were too lazy to bother the managers with rather insignificant items. We found small quantities at local stores.

Great spot to relax.

My family and I loved this place and already have plans to return in the future. This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed in and the layout is simple but functional. The manager was sweet and helpful from day 1. We couldn't get the AC units to work correctly and she came right over and showed us how to use the remotes. Her exact words to us were, "I want you to be comfortable" and that was awesome because we were the entire time. The game room is such a cool feature especially when you need to pass the time for the teenagers to wake up lol. Thank you for making our trip very nice.

We love the area. So easy to walk to the village area and beach! They had all the necessities on site for us to be able to do laundry and wash bottles which was important for us with our 6 month old! We had an awesome stay!

Great location!

A block from the beach, and about a 1/2 mile walk to town. Well-stocked kitchen and large refrigerator. The game room was a plus! Quiet. The manager was super nice and helpful. One thing to be aware of: there is frosted glass on the doors to the bedrooms, and light from outside the unit comes in, so pack a sleep mask.

Summer Fun!!

This is an amazing property!!! We stayed for 8 days in the lower 2 bedroom unit. It is a very nice modern comfortable place. Very clean upon arrival, check in process & entry was seamless. The unit is well stocked w/ everything you could need or want (paper towels, soaps, TP, body wash, trash bags). Plenty of dishes and cook ware. The beds were comfortable w/ lots of pillows. They also provide an air mattress that is quite comfortable & stays inflated!! Location is hard to beat for the price, neighbor hood is quiet & clean w/ a 5 min walk to the beach, restaurants, shops etc... One bonus for us was all the beach gear they provide like chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards & very large beach towels. They also provide 2 parking spots. We reccommend nothing larger than a sedan as the parking in the drive way can be a bit cramped. They property manager was very friendly and promptly replied to all inquiries. We will absolutely be staying again!!

Our family (four adults) spent Christmas break at the Wave! It was fabulous. Sparkling clean, with all of the things you need to have a great vacation! Even a holiday plant was waiting on our arrival!

Carlsbad perfect

The place was perfect. Clean, modern, comfy. We would stay again!! We hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for our son and some of his fellow Marines who are at stationed Camp Pendleton. The place was close to everything.
