Welcome to Casa Koi

Located steps from the Carlsbad sign, and one block from the beach, Casa Koi is in the heart of Carlsbad Village but situated on a tucked away corner. You will enjoy the entire 1st floor condo with a fenced in private patio on the lush grounds of the Monterey-Gage community. Guests love the walkability with restaurants, quaint shops, the beach and farmers market just steps away.

When you walk into Casa Koi, you enter an open living room with a large flat screen TV and comfortable seating. The adjoining dining room is perfect for eating in and the chef's kitchen has what you need to cook a nice meal. Open the French doors in the kitchen for the ultimate in indoor-outdoor living with the large brick patio, outdoor sofa and chairs and a relaxing fountain.

Each bedroom comes with stylish furnishings, a top-quality mattress and great linens.

Casa Koi has you covered with beach gear and a beach wagon to carry the supplies for your short walk to the beach! We will also provide you with recommendations for hikes or e-bike rides to see the area.
Complimentary high-speed Wi Fi averaging over 200 Mbps download and 12 Mbps upload. We've included a desk in the primary bedroom in case you need to work.
This well-appointed condo has high end finishes, AC and a washer and dryer.

THE LOCATION
Venture off of the property and take advantage of Casa Koi's ideal location for the beach, shopping, dining and nightlife. The train station is within walking distance for a short trip to downtown San Diego.

Guest access
Access to Casa Koi is made simple with a digital door lock. Each guest is given their own code to access the condo during their stay which is deleted upon their departure to maintain the security of the condo.

For parking guests have access to one designated covered parking spot for the condo. Additional free street parking is found adjacent to the condo.

This property is professionally managed by Haustay Vacation Rentals. Quiet hours are 10PM to 10AM. No parties are allowed. No Pets. No smoking or vaping on property.

Great location and remodel

Beautiful remodel of an apartment in and older building. As a corner unit, they were able to create a private patio which is a lovely space to hang out in. The decor was impeccable and the kitchen is fabulous. You cannot beat the location to downtown Carlsbad and the market. Lively atmosphere until 10 pm and then quiet!

Relaxing beach vacation

We enjoyed a relaxing 10 day beach vacation at this beautiful and homely apartment in Carlsbad. It met all our requirements and the well equipped kitchen was a big bonus.

Highly recommend!

The location was perfect as we could walk to the beach in a matter of minutes as well as get to all the downtown Carlsbad shops and restaurants. The condo was very clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials to make meals. The washer and dryer were small capacity, but still nice to do a couple of loads of laundry before heading back home. The only things that I would forewarn about is that it can get very noisy with the upstairs tennant, the nearby train, and the hustle and bustle of the downtown vibe. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend, but still not worth rating lower than a 5 star because you cannot ask for a better location to everything. Also, beds were a little firm and could use a mattress topper, but I'm just spoiled from my own. :) Great stay absolutely no issues checking in or out!!!

This is a great little property and served our family well. The property is in beautiful condition. The bedrooms are efficiently sized with good closet space, the beds/bedding is nice and comfortable. The kitchen area is a good size and very well stocked for those (like us) who like to prepare meals in. The location is great (almost too good...as the village can get very busy at all times of day and night, but the dual pane windows (and AC) did a good job of keeping the noise outside), and this location is a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and Carlsbad Village. There is also a nice, fairly private enclosed patio with water fountain which is a nice place to sit outside and relax. Off street parking is a huge plus in this area, and you have the ability to double park 2 vehicles here (bonus)! The parking spot is a bit tight, and extra large SUV's will really notice it, but mid-sized vehicles fit just fine. Things to note: There is only one bathroom, so if that is going to be an issue look elsewhere. Also, there isn't a formal dining area, but the island dining chairs (or the patio) worked well for us. Final word. This is among the nicest furnished/equipped vacation rental units we have stayed in, and would definitely consider staying here again as it represented good value for us.
