The site also houses the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum and a large public park. McKinley was born in Niles, Ohio but began his career in Canton, the city he called home. McKinley was also the 39th Governor of Ohio. On September 6th 1901, six months into his second term as President, McKinley was shot by a Polish American anarchist. He died 8 days later on September 14th. He was succeeded by his vice president Theodore Roosevelt. This house had everything we needed and it was comfortable. The host was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again when back in town.

The host was awesome. We did have an issue with a heavy smell of pot in the house. According to the host, the previous guests threw a party. There was some furniture that seemed damaged, but they were very kind and accommodating. I don't hold it against them.

Beautiful house , overall nice place. Everythings broken. Tv's having issues, Beds caving in, Even smelled like smoke when we arrived. Not to mention the couch is literally on the floor. They propped the couch onto the legs and tried to charge my card for damages that were already there.

We were unexpectedly in town for a funeral and thankful this place was available. The house was well appointed and suitable for our family. The host was very responsive and helpful before our stay. We encountered one minor thing during our stay but the host was very helpful and responsive. In fact we have booked this house again for another visit to the area within the next few weeks! Thank you Matthew for working with our family and being so accommodating!

The place was perfect for our little celebration of my sister’s engagement. We were close to the Gervasi Winery and many other cool places. The host was very involved and the place was perfect for what we needed!
