"Great stay. The pool area is very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. Food at restaurants was very nice and priced reasonably. Hotel is 15 minute drive from boardwalk area but we preferred that as it was very quiet and not crowded."

There was also hair in the fridge? No dish soap or paper towels which was a little disappointing considering it has a full kitchen with dishwasher. "This was a last minute decision to try to stay at the beach for the weekend. The beach access was literally right across the street. I could have thrown a rock from the hotel and it would have landed in the ocean. It is a old school beach hotel from back in the day. Inside is updated! Very quiet part of the beach. A great deal in my opinion!"

"The hotel room layout was excellent! Normally, it’s just one space but this was separated into a sleeping space, full kitchen and living room with doors that closed between rooms. We have been to Myrtle Beach a lot and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in."

"They failed to communicate in advance that the hotel was under construction because a guest flooded out the 3rd floor. I dropped my AirPod on the floor between the night stand and bed and there was soooooo much dust piled on the wall and bed board. There was hair inside my sheets at the foot of the bed. Luckily, I was there one night but the sight of that made me gag because I didn’t see it until I was literally packing to leave. Breakfast only meat option was pork sausage."
