"The plumbing needs replacing/updating. Water had no pressure, taps were hard to turned off to prevent dripping and drainage was really slow so we couldn’t have an enjoyable shower…Otherwise it’s a great place to stay especially the location."

"Modern hotel, well presented with easy access to its own eateries and the many offerings close by. Only downsides were a restricted number of car parks which meant our car was out on the street all night; and the lighting in the room is very subtle with a lack of bright lighting if you are doing ..."

Pacific Hotel Cairns
"Suggests parking was available at time of booking, but wasn’t. Had to park 500m away and pay for it. Then walk back to hotel in the rain. I was told by reception that all the parks had been fully booked but big sign NEXT TO RECEPTION states that car parks cannot be booked and it’s first in first ..."

"Rooms could do with updating, money has been spent on dining room, bar and swimming area which look great. Rooms and bathroom tired although a good size. If you can afford to get a sea view room do it- it makes a huge difference rather than looking over the car park. The hospital is a stones throw ..."

"The room size was generous. The taps and shower head were awkward. Not easy to turn on or off. In general, the property was quite dated. Maintenance required on fan switch. Window shutters let in too much light."
