Beach Retreat is a beautifully remodeled 4-bedroom cottage offering bright coastal interiors and ocean views from multiple levels. Designed for comfort and connection, this spacious home accommodates up to 9 guests and provides thoughtful gathering spaces throughout.

The first floor includes a cozy den with access to an oceanside deck, a full hall bath, laundry area, a king master suite with a private bath and deck access, and a bunk room with a bunk bed and trundle that also opens to the deck.

The second level features an open-concept layout with plush seating, a fully stocked kitchen, and a generous dining area ideal for family meals, along with a convenient half bath. This level also includes a king master suite with a private bath and deck access.

The third floor offers a private king master suite with a private bath and its own oceanside deck with partial ocean views.

Guests have access to resort-style amenities, including a pool and spa, fish cleaning stations, private parking, and outdoor hot and cold showers. Beach Retreat is the ideal home base for a relaxing coastal escape.

Beautiful location!

Stay was great! Enjoyed the beach house and convenience of the private beach and community pool. Beach house was the standard clean and had all the kitchen appliances you could need. There is a small roach problem on the balcony and outside and 1-2 ventured into the house but nothing crazy. TV in one of the bedrooms had a slight glitch probably an easy fix we didn’t complain because my daughter watched tv in the living room. But overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Good location, right near the beach

The cleanliness of the property was just ok. The cleaning service crew needs to do a better job. We had issues with getting the TV in the main living room area to work. After 30 min of trying multiple things we finally got it. However, the TV’s in the bedrooms only had one channel to watch. The house was in a decent location and big enough for my family of 7. The beach was gorgeous and not crowded. Very short walk to the beach. View from balcony was great. There are a lot of stairs so not ideal for my elderly grandmother. Keep this in mind if you are traveling with someone that may have issues with stairs. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, pans and silverware. If you plan on fixing coffee or food you will need to bring coffee filters and anything else you will need. Overall the property was decent but I would prefer it to be much cleaner.

An Awesome Getaway!!

Upon arriving to the location, this rental property is just what the pictures show. Very clean and neat, they supplied towels and linens. The bedrooms were very spacious and and the view from the balconies were lovely. My friends and I enjoyed our weekend, location was great for restaurants and supermarkets. We are interested at looking at this property again, if we ever return to OBX. Happy with our stay!!

No complaints. Just a few observations: 1. Some detail cleaning would be useful such as under or behind dressers and beds and inside drawers. Found a child’s toy in by the nightstand and some debris in several drawers. 2. Hot water could be set to a higher temp. It was hot but I like very hot showers. Water pressure was good but temp could be better. 3. Tv display in main living area was cropped smaller than the picture so that the sides were cut off. I’m not very technical so didn’t know how to fix this. TV was still watchable but I noticed it. Besides the few things mentioned, we really liked the location and we had a better view than we expected. It was great to walk maybe 100 feet and be at the water. Overall, great vacation.

Beach access is compromised

House is solid and clean but beach access is compromised due to August storm difficult to fish there. If fishing the point it’s close and the view is great, outdoor deck chairs were awesome. Hose is a bit short for spraying down cars.

Great location

The house was actually nicer than we thought it would be, it has lots of outside deck space which isn’t shown in the listing. The only issue was the huge roaches we would see periodically, but the house appeared to be pretty clean. There were a couple of other things (no grill tools though there is a charcoal grill, lack of some kitchen supplies), but I’ll say that overall it’s a very nice place.

Great place to relax

Came to Buxton, NC after our NJ trip got cancelled due to covid. Great location and accommodations. There were a couple of minor issues with the property, but nothing that wasn't handled well by the property manger. There are plenty of places to choose from down there, but this one fit the bill for us. Highly recommend.
