A warm welcome to our wonderful vacation home!

Are you looking to get together with your family or friends again and enjoy a lovely weekend or vacation? Then this beautiful new vacation home with a large barbecue terrace is just right for you!

Our beautiful vacation home offers a cozy atmosphere across 220 square meters, spread over two floors of a house built in 1910. We completely restored, renovated, and modernly furnished it in 2020 and 2021, decorating it with great care.

Whether it’s a short getaway with the extended family, a seminar or workshop, or a weekend trip with lots of friends—there’s plenty of space here!

Our vacation home spans two floors (first floor, first floor). It has a total of 6 bedrooms, including 3 double-bed rooms and 3 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. It also has 4 full bathrooms with showers and toilets.

The layout of our vacation home is as follows:

First floor: A stylish living room, a modern kitchenette, and a beautiful dining area with a large dining table—the three areas are open-concept and connected. 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 2 shower rooms with toilets.

First floor: 4 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed, 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds, and 2 shower rooms with toilets.

All bedrooms and living areas are heated with allergy-friendly infrared heating and feature a flat-screen TV.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Linen packages can be rented as an option for a one-time fee of 18 euros per person (includes a hand towel, a bath towel, and a complete set of bed linens). Check-in is available starting at 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge, as are parking spaces behind the building (Oberer Grundstrasse) with access to the barbecue terrace and the rear entrance.

SURROUNDINGS
Our accommodations are located in the heart of Sankt Andreasberg. The Sankt Andreasberg National Park community lies at an elevation of 600 to 900 meters and offers ideal conditions for hiking, biking, fishing, and skiing. Top attractions include the 550-meter-long summer toboggan run, the high ropes course with a zip line, the Samson Mine—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—featuring the Harz Canary Museum, and the annual traditional festivals. In winter, both on the Matthias-Schmidt-Berg and the nearby Sonnenberg, you’ll find alpine skiing and snowboarding centers with ski lifts and places to stop for refreshments. Cross-country skiers will also find perfect conditions in and around Sankt Andreasberg. And if you love tobogganing, Sankt Andreasberg is a must-visit: The toboggan run with a snow tubing track, located right next to the Kurhaus, is a major attraction for “young & old” alike.

A supermarket, bakery, café, shops, and restaurants (serving international and traditional local cuisine) are all nearby. The beautiful spa park, featuring a large playground and a mini-golf course, is just a 2-minute walk away.
St. Andreasberg is one of the few towns in the Harz Mountains that has managed to preserve much of its original character, with idyllic streets and colorful wooden houses.

From Sankt Andreasberg, you can take great day trips to Braunlage (12 km), Bad Lauterberg (12 km), Clausthal-Zellerfeld (21 km), and Bad Harzburg (25 km). Goslar, Wernigerode, and Quedlinburg are about 40 minutes away. The A395 is easily accessible by car in 35 minutes, the A7 highway in 40 minutes, and the A38 in 50 minutes.
