"An excellent boutique hotel perfectly located for walking to the many places to visit in Mdina and Rabat. Very close to the main bus stops and restaurants. The hotel is in a grand old building, fully and tastefully modernised inside. Our room was spacious and well appointed. And spotlessly clean. "We stayed at XVI Suites from 4–10 April and booked this hotel specifically because the pool was advertised as being open from April to October. Unfortunately, on arrival we were informed that the pool would not open until the end of April. When I pointed out that Expedia clearly stated it would be open from the beginning of April, I was simply told that the information was incorrect. After several excuses like ‘it had rained’ there was still no resolution or acknowledgment of the inconvenience...

"We had a lovely stay and would recommend this property. The only issue we had was that our pre-arranged hotel transfer was not actually arranged. The hotel did not confirm that booking, so we ended up using the taxi stand, which was fine. You are a bit outside of the main areas in Malta, but it was a lovely hotel with a fantastic breakfast. We enjoyed the restaurants around the hotel too. Great views at breakfast! Nice, quiet rooms with comfortable beds! We loved the partial sea view."

"Good option with good standard rooms if you're ok to "commute" to the attractions in and around St Paul's bay (or stick to the pool area all day), location has limited food options within walking distance. Room has a kitchen (upgraded maybe) with kettle, microwave, stove and sink but no tea or coffee is provided so bring some as prices will be inflated."

"The property location was great for the money. Rooms had enough apartment utensils to allow you to survive weeks. However, the beds where not great. I got two little twin beds side by side, which i wouldve hoped was at least the same feel, but one was dripping and the other one was just straight hard. That would be my only reco. Also, they do not have towels for beach/pool. So bring your own."

Wir hatten eine Suite mit Dusche und Badewanne gebucht, wurden jedoch in einer barrierefreien Suite ohne Badewanne untergebracht. Im Badezimmer gab es zudem nahezu keine Ablageflächen – lediglich ein kleines Plastikregal stand zur Verfügung. Auch in der gesamten Suite fehlte es an Stauraum. "Wir waren bereits vor vier Jahren in diesem Hotel und hatten es sehr positiv in Erinnerung. Deshalb waren wir dieses Mal leider etwas enttäuscht. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Als wir ankamen, war unser Zimmer leider nicht sauber, aber das Team hat sofort reagiert und alles gründlich gereinigt.
