"Valentines evening with overnight stay. Check in easy, mostly done online prior to arrival. Room was good size and very clean, hotel situated along side of busy A55, but road noise in room was minimal. "I would not recommend this property as it is poorly maintained. The first room I was given had a door that did not lock. The hotel has a strange layout and if you want to go higher than the first floor you have to take two separate lifts. The good thing about this hotel is the location, it is very central and close to Moorfields station. However, there is much that could be improved."

"Rooms clean, gym had everything for a usual gym goer, food was really good, but pricy but you get what you pay for. Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. "

"It's was an experience we wanted, to stay in a castle. The Ruthin Castle has a ton of history. It's a bit run down but I guess that could be the charm. The bathroom was beautiful, the rooms (bedroom and living room) were large. Overall, the place seemed quiet and dark. There is not a lot to do in Ruthin. The staff was nice and the room was clean."

"Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. "
