You can't get much closer to the action than this! This private condo is within steps to Zilker Park / Barton Springs and right on the edge of Downtown and Lady Bird Lake. Come explore the recreational vein of Austin!

Guests will have access to HD broadcast channels, Netflix, and high-speed Wifi (100mbs). There are laundry facilities on-site. One reserved parking space is also provided.

The location of this property is superb! Ideal for couples or for a few friends that want to explore the city by foot or bike. Key attractions are right around the corner: ACL, SXSW, SoCo, Barton Springs Pool, Zilker Park Botanical Gardens, Umlauf Sculpture Garden, Auditorium Shores, Hike & Bike Trail, The Green Belt, Downtown Austin, 6th Street, The Long Center, Palmer Events Center, Alamo Drafthouse theatre and dozens of South Austin bars and eateries. There is even a mini-market right next door that has everything you could possibly need. This third-story condo also has a sweeping view of downtown Austin, including the Capitol building and the UT Tower. If you want to experience Austin this is THE place you want to be!

The Barton Hills neighborhood is located in Austin's coveted South Central District. It sits on the edge of the Barton Creek Greenbelt, and is surrounded by world-renowned amenities such as Barton Springs and Zilker Park, home of the ACL music festival. Lady Bird Lake and Downtown are only blocks away, where you will find the Convention Center's SXSW festival, Auditorium Shores, The Long Center, 6th Street, shopping on Congress Ave (SoCo) and so many more bars and restaurants it would be impossible to list them all!

~ Reservation may be subject to prior profile history and reviews. Falsified reservations, such as reporting an incorrect number of guests to avoid per person fees, will forfeit the entire rental deposit.

Nice place with a view

Enjoyed our stay here! The unit was cozy and clean with a great location. The beautiful view of the city off the small balcony made the climb up the 2 flights of stairs worthwhile.Note to owner: The upstairs toilet flapper valve leaks and the water would run to refill the toilet every hour or so which woke us up at night.

Great Location

I stayed here for the ACL music festival, and I could not have asked for a better location. The property was wonderful, clean, well furnished, and comfortable. The prices go up significantly for ACL, but I guess that’s to be expected.

Great location, comfortable loft

Location was a short drive to downtown, a short stroll to the Zilker Park trail system, which we enjoyed (walked around Barton Springs pool and down to the Colorado River, which they call Town Lake or Lady Bird Lake). Neighborhood was quiet. We never needed to buy anything at the market next door, but we went in to see what they had - like a gas station convenience store with a sandwich deli, extensive wine selection, and walkin beer cooler. Nice to have close by. We stayed over Thanksgiving when visiting our son who lives there - so used the kitchen to make a dinner for 4. All good there, although dishwasher is very noisy. Having a 2nd small bathroom with shower in the bedroom loft area was very nice. We're pretty particular with pillows and like firm mattresses. Bed was soft, pillows not good. But the place is cute, clean, and comfortable (we have youtube tv, so the tv worked great for us too). We'll stay here again for our future Austin visits.

Excellent Austin Location

This was a great place to stay and visit Austin. Easy walking distance to Barton Springs pool and that entire area. Short Uber ride from S Congress and other popular areas. The apartment has a nice living area and a loft bedroom. Great view of downtown from the porch. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The market next door has everything you could need for a short stay. Highly recommended!

Work trip

I had a work trip in Austin that was unexpectedly extended. This place was amazing! It’s relaxing and the host is very responsive. I can’t wait to stay there again the next time I’m in Austin. I highly recommend staying there even if it’s just a staycation.

Best location for couples/small party

We loved this property! It was small, just 2 people, but the location can not be beat! So close to many things. The next door market was also very convenient. It was very clean and comfortable. I'll probably look to stay again.

Had a wonderful weekend stay in this clean and cozy loft space in Barton Hills. Clean sheets, fresh towels, cold AC, wonderful host, and a comfortable bed and living space, all within walking distance to Barton Springs.

Great place to stay minutes to everything

Conveniently located close to shopping, great food, the river, trails, and good drinks. Sean was a great host and responded quickly whenever I had a question about the property or recommendations where in Austin. Would definitely recommend this place.

Convenient location near the downtown and in the heart of many outdoor activities.

The place was great more than enough room for my wife and I. The condo was walking distance from many outdoor activities such as Barton springs pool, kayaking, and bike trails that we actually used to bike into the downtown on a number of occasions (one time to see the bats under the bridge). The area is chill and clean which was nice coming back home too after nights out on E. 6th, Rainey St., etc. You can also walk a couple of blocks from the condo to find a number of restaurant/bars + food trucks. Getting Lyfts/Uber also very easy from this location. The property manager Sean was also very accommodating and let us stay a little later on our check out day so we weren’t displaced while waiting for our flight back. Would recommend condo and location.

Awesome condo in a cool neighborhood!

This was my first vrbo experience and i have to say it was pretty cool. Sean was very accommodating and quick to respond to my questions about anything. I forgot to grab my work phone when we checked out and he went to the trouble of sending it back to me ASAP which was very cool of him. The condo itself is pretty neat...love the decor and the loft set up. I was wondering how i would survive without the amenities of a hotel but there is a mini mart within walking distance that has everything you could possibly need including an awesome beer and wine selection. We also order d a couple of sandwiches from there which to my surprise were delicious!!! $4-$8 uber or Lyft ride to most cool spots. Overall great experience. Thanks Sean!!!

Great place to stay!

Just stayed here this past week - and what a wonderful experience it was! The location is excellent, as it is in a cute, safe neighborhood that is pretty close to all the sights (and Lyft was really quick to bring us to anything not in walking distance). The host was also incredibly helpful and hospitable. Overall, just a great experience and a great trip :)

Nice apartment, great location

This was an excellent place to stay to visit Austin. It is close to downtown but on a quiet street. For runners and walkers, the location is excellent as it is only 1/4 mile from a great trail system that follows Barton Creek and the banks of the Colorado River. There is a small market next door with provisions (you should check the expiration date on perishable items as some of the ones we wanted had expired a few weeks prior). There is a good food truck location less than a mile away. The only issue we encountered is that the Internet connection is very slow (4Mbps download with high latency). If you need a good connection, you may not be satisfied with this. Also, be aware that there isn't cable TV, just over-the-air broadcasts. If neither of those things bothers you, this is a great place and I highly recommend it.
