Welcome to The Heart of Austin Hideaway, your private oasis in the middle of all the best that Austin has to offer. Nestled on South 1st St., this spacious and stylish townhome property offers the perfect blend of central location and peaceful privacy. Ideal for singles, families, groups, and pets, this townhome is a stone's throw from Austin's most vibrant scenes yet provides a tranquil retreat from the city buzz. Free parking is available but you are mere minutes from DT/SoCo/Zilker/SoLa/S1. This two-story townhome features two cozy bedrooms, one is outfitted with a plush queen bed and the other bedroom has 2 twin beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The 1.5 baths with full hotel-style products add convenience, especially for groups or families. The open-plan living area, bathed in natural light, invites you to relax and unwind. A fully-equipped kitchen (including Keurig coffee maker with K-cups) and separate dining area will allow you to whip up your own meals when you don't feel like eating out on the town. In-unit washer & dryer with detergent and iron/ironing board is also available for your convenience to keep clothes clean for longer stays. Fast, complimentary WiFi and a Smart HDTV is available to keep you connected and streaming. This property features contactless self check-in and smart locks. Free parking for one vehicle is available on-site. If you need to park larger vehicles or more than one vehicle please message us to confirm availability. After booking, you’ll receive messages from Skip regarding address, location within our property, and your unique access code for your townhome. The townhome is your private hideaway during your stay in Austin, but Skip is always available to help in case anything comes up in the unit or if you'd like local recommendations on things to do, places to eat or spots to catch live music. Communication is fastest and easiest via messaging through the app but you'll also be given our phone number upon check-in for calling or texting.

Check-in was terrible. They sent us instructions for the wrong unit and we walked into an already occupied unit. The code they gave us was for the wrong unit based from the listing we booked, and it didn't work. Also, the phone number listed in the instructions was not a working number so we couldn't get a hold of the host! After finally finding another number to call and leaving 2 messages, somebody called us back and then had me on hold for 5 minutes and said he needs to find my booking and call back. Then he texted me asking for confirmation of the listing and proof of payment. A few minutes later he texted me a code to a completely different unit. When we got inside we realized there we no hand soap in the bathrooms and no toilet paper, the hand towel ring in the downstairs bathroom was barely attached to the wall and it smelled rotten in there. The towels were stained and walls needed touch up paint badly. The upstairs toilet wasn't working properly. Also the listing says that 1 of the rooms had 2 twin beds, which was not the case! Would never stay here again, way over priced and unreliable. It was also right next to a very busy and loud street. The ONE positive was the location.
