It was unfortunately not the best experience at this hotel. At check-in, I had an unpleasant encounter; however, the front desk staff was very apologetic and even came to my room with a bag of gifts from the hotel, which I genuinely appreciated.
What I did not like was the room service. On my second day, I noticed hair on my bedsheet and a dirty towel with brown and red spots folded as if it were new in the bathroom. I requested room service to return in the afternoon they did, and they replaced them.
The next day, I noticed the bedsheet had not been changed, though there were no issues with the towels. On the third day, the bedsheet again had not been changed, and there were three dirty towels in the bathroom along with a cleaning wipe that housekeeping had forgotten to remove. I informed the front desk that whoever had been cleaning my room in the mornings should not return, as the service was inconsistent. It seemed that some housekeeping staff were good, while others were not professional at all. I felt unsure about the room’s cleanliness, so I ended up cleaning the bathroom myself to be safe.
Overall, there is definitely room for improvement, particularly in housekeeping. The location of the hotel is great, nearby the convention center and the downtown attractions, the breakfast was excellent, and there is a mall nearby with plenty of restaurants.
