"Very comfortable- much better than a hotel room. I enjoyed the outdoor covered deck, footsteps from the lagoon and kayaking. Breakfast was great. And the adorable geckos."

"Nice place to stay. Air conditioning wasn’t very cold. Very clean, friendly staff. Room was oceanfront and very large. Lots of fish, rays and turtles in the lagoon visible from the restaurant. Nice pier and reef to snorkel around. "

"We stayed at the Kon-Tiki for 3 nights prior to a cruise. In general, the hotel was excellent, with very comfortable beds and superb overall cleanliness. There were 3 specific things that dropped the rating a bit. The housekeeping staff took our small towel on the second day and never replaced it. The filtered water bottle was refilled, but the filter itself wasn't replaced correctly and I ended up pouring water all over the counter when it fell out. And finally, the sink looks good, but I found...

"The front desk staff, especially the ladies in the morning were so helpful and kind. My husband left his kindle on our flight, and the ladies especially Rae were instrumental in the recovery of the kindle. They took the time to track down and secure the kindle until we were able to get back to the airport. Thank you so very much. The property is beautiful, well kept and welcoming."

"What a lovely resort! Quiet, peaceful, and beautiful! They room was lovely and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The covered outside patio was a perfect place time. The free snorkel gear was ok. But the snorkeling off of the dock was absolutely amazing! And the stars at night? I have never seen so much beauty in the sky! With no light pollution, the Milky Way was so beautiful! We only regret not staying longer! "

"Great location. Within walking distance to ferry terminal and cruise terminal. Close to waterfront- nice area to walk along. Several restaurants within walking distance for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Staff very friendly- alway ready with a smile. Hair dryers not in room but available upon request. Strange thing - could not figure out how to turn off bathroom light so closed door at night. Also , in our room anyways, both the toilet and the bed were so high lol "

"Over the water bungalow number 111, only 4 feet deep of water, lots of live coral reefs, no need to snorkel since you can see beautiful fishes from your deck. A little crackers can lure hundreds of fishes, dozens of species. The Saturday Polynesian buffet is amazing. They have baby pig, unicon fish, trigger fish, giant clam, 5 different ways of raw tuna, chicken, beef, tropical fruits, dozens of desserts including exotic ice cream like sore sap ice cream. "The place is nice and has an amazing rooftop bar and restaurant. We stayed one night after coming back from bora bora. Most people go to the airport hotels but I wanted a small night life. "

"I highly recommend this hotel. All of the staff were fantastic and are just wonderful. The cleaning lady’s husband is a fisherman. We bought a big tuna fish from him. They helped us prepare the tuna and cook it together. We shared the tuna with other hotel visitors. It was the best tuna :). There were also kayaks on-site that we can use. The room was super clean and organized. We will come back again. Thank you for a fantastic stay."
