"This was by far one of the best hotels that we stayed The views were absolutely incredible. The walk ability was amazing, the breakfast and dinner restaurant were also really great. It was one of our favorite hotels that we stayed at again. I can’t begin to describe how beautiful the view from all the hotel rooms and the balconies that they had. So close and walkable to everything with a gorgeous river outside would definitely come back and stay again.!"

"This hotel is a very easy 5 minute walk from the train station. I think we were the only Americans staying there which is always a bonus in my mind. It was a national holiday when we stayed so there were lots of Germans staying there. It would have been nice to have a room overlooking the river instead of the parking lot and road which could be a bit noisy. The room was very simple but adequate. "We stayed at Quellenhof Hotel 3 times during the weeks we visited our son in Garmisch. Each time we stayed on a different floor - every floor has a beautiful view of the Alps! The rooms were always clean. Be careful to adjust the shower curtain just right or water will leak onto the floor. I encourage everyone to stay here! Ask for the bus pass while you stay. Grainau has great restaurants and shops! Beautiful village!"

"The room was advertised as sleeps three. Husband and I barely fit in the double bed (think US double). The room is great for one person or two small. The staff are very friendly, the surroundings beautiful. Highly recommend but check bed situation for sure. Also no air conditioning, just chilled air. Was very warm till outside cooled off and we could open windows. "
