The hotel itself is just a minute walking from anything shopping to restaurants, but away from the busy streets and noise. "First -- when you get to what seems to be the right address, look for the green door and push inwards (ignore the handle that looks like you should pull it open). This is essentially a rooming house in the religious Geula neighborhood, with basic and very comfortable amenities and touches of artistic flair in all of the public rooms. I loved my stay. The staff were tremendously friendly and accommodating, the beds comfortable and the furniture was homey albeit lived-in. Shower water pressure...

"Clean room, great private beach for Dead Sea. Lovely pool areas. Hard to navigate around the property though - we got so lost trying to find our room upon arrival as there was no one to help us. Our room was only accessible by going into one building, down an elevator, across to another building and up another elevator!"

"Location was great, very accessible to the old city. Felt like home away from home. The food in the restaurant was delicious, very fresh and hearty, recommend dinner there. One thing we had a lot of ants in our room, which ciuld be mitigated by covering gaps in doors and windows. Also I understand its an old property but there are things that can be done about the general cleaniless and mould in bathrooms. "
