"My partner and I travelled for three nights and stayed at the Amadeus hotel. We were afraid as it is pretty close to the train terminal and I had heard it was not a great location. but what a plus. Location was great. Wrong it was perfect! The staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast was exactly what we needed for a whole day out of touring. Many choices. Room was not too small for the standard room we chose and decor was as expected. Rooms looked better in person than in pictures....

"The hotel is in a very popular area and was very crowded on the streets but we enjoyed our stay there. Shopping, restaurants and transportation right outside. The staff was excellent. The hotel arranged transportation for us by water taxi right to the front door. We also were given an excursion to Murano that included a visit with a glass master! We would stay there again and recommend it!I almost forgot to mention that the hotel has a rooftop terrace that over looks the Grand Canal!"

"Location is what makes this hotel worth a stay. Otherwise a bit mediocre. Several issues in bathroom-sink stopper didn’t work, toilet seat loose, lighting so so for shaving. Breakfast buffet good Major complaint was advice on how to get to hotel from airport. It is directly accessible by water taxi but concierge told us to use their preferred car service, which was very poor."

"Easy journey to Marco Polo airport from the Carnival hotel on the Aliaguna water bus to Guglie a short walk from the hotel. Lots of good restaurants and aperitif places on the canal outside the hotel. Easy access to all the main sites from Tri Archi vaporetto stop outside the hotel. Much cheaper to get a two or three or more days, water bus pass for as many journeys that you want to take each day. Good safe local neighbourhood to wander about including evenings."
