"We enjoyed the deep soaking bathtub. Very comfortable and clean. Beds were soft and had an abundance of pillows. The breakfast was fantastic. Good selection, and everything was delicious. Restaurant staff were courteous and attentive. Hotel staff were kind and polite. It felt safe in the hotel. A key card is required to use the elevators. We stayed in an accessible room. The only changes we would recommend would be to also have a microwave in the room in addition to the fridge (which was nice...

"This is a charming, old-fashioned hotel in a perfect location. My room had a view of the Union Square Christmas lights. It is not slick or modern: think of it as European and you will see its charms. The room was comfortable with everything you need. They warn you in advance that there's no air conditioning but most of the time in SF you don't need it, and there's a ceiling fan and the windows can be opened.
