"I've stayed at The Crown a few times...and many will say its outdated...needs a lick of paint...not me...its quite a charming hotel with character and squeaky floorboards...dont ever change...plus the location is fantastic..."

"Great location right in the City Center. I only stayed one night as a solo traveller. Check in person and check out person were very friendly and helpful. The room was very small but fine for me. Everything was compact but functional. If you are claustrophobic then you might want check with them about their room sizes. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Room was okay although couldn’t get the heating right. Either too warm or a bit cool. Shower didn’t seem to get as hot as expected. Been to hotel numerous times but starting to look a little tired and jaded especially the carpets"
