"The hotel was cozy, clean, and comfortable. It well served its purpose as a base for me while I visited the Falls several times. The neighborhood of the hotel was also charming. I’m a birder and managed to photograph more than 10 new bird species, separate from what I saw at the Falls. "Had a bad Checkin experience, feel like they ambushed us by taking advantage of the busy period they were threatening to cancel our reservation and leave us stranded on the street. I find it so unethical to require USD $100 a night for an additional person yet the original booking was $56 a night for the same room. "

We had early morning excursions and they accommodated our schedule with breakfast when we needed it. The place is super clean. They are always cleaning something. "Bayete Guest Lodge is a beautiful, peaceful guest lodge with a gracious, professional staff, lovely gardens and grounds, clean pool, and delicious food. The national park is about 3 km away. You will be dependent upon taxis unless you have driven your own car, but the drivers are very good to take you places and pick you up later after you have finished your activity.
