"Pros - Nice location about 20-30 minutes to the southern entrance to Yosemite, about 1.5 hr to Yosemite Valley. The house is off the main road, so is fairly quiet. The host was responsive to text messages and check in process was smooth. Beds were fairly comfortable, and our kids enjoyed the bunk bed.Cons - Unfortunately, the kitchen had been infiltrated by ants. They were all over the counters and had entered several of the cabinets, meaning we had to store all food in either the refrigerator...

"Pictures can be a little deceiving! Inside was nice and cozy but the outdoor space was a mess! Grass hadn’t been cut for weeks, hot tub was cloudy and had debris. Telescope was decorative only as it didn’t work at all. The deck looked like it wasn’t cleaned in ages as it was covered in so many cobwebs and debris. 3 empty propane tanks and one with barely any to grill. Remote for upstairs tv missing, couldn’t get ahold of the hosts for almost a full day (we were only there for a 2 nights) and...

"We were awestruck by the gorgeous view from the wide balcony surrounding the house. The waterfall was in full force even in dry July. It is close enough to Yosemite Park that we were able to make day trips to the park and come back early enough for a dip in the creek below the water fall in the back of the house. The house is well equipped and functional. The only polite suggestion I can make is that the bed mattresses could be replaced with a more comfortable kind to be compatible with the house...

"The house has lots of space for a big group to get together. We would have liked the AC to work for the whole house, not just the back half; the 2 rooms in the front, the living room and dinning area stayed pretty warm, bordering hot during our stay. Those spaces wouldn't cool down unless the windows are opened and it's evening time. The bath tubs and shower space could use a deep cleaning to get rid of the mildew. There were a lot of cob webs inside the house, as well as the play area...
