"This hotel has been run down terribly. Obviously, the roof on the second floor had a leak and an amateur has plastered over the stiple ceiling. The defuser for the tap in tub is Almost impossible to activate it for shower from tub filling. We bought 6 pounds of Bing Cherries from Oliver to take home so we put them in the fridge and were unable to find any switches to regulate the temperature. That night we took out the cherries to eat some and they were frozen and spoilt.

"The room smelled like cigarette smoke and it was in general disrepair. The area was not ideal and there were questionable folks everywhere. I was traveling alone, so some of the louder tenants made me nervous and it was hard to sleep. The bed was clean though and reasonably comfortable.
They are renovating a different wing and I think that will be great when it’s done."

"My room was at the back overlooking the back of the Skytrain station. Older decor, on main street. Onsite bar and food. A good night’s sleep in a clean room for a great price. Friendly staff. Paid 24hr parking in the lot across the street, or free parking on the street 8pm-8am."

"The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

"The night from hell. There was techno music all night long right under my room, so loud my teeth were vibrating all night. I slept for exactly 1 hour. I found out when I got there that the washroom was down the hall, not in the room. It was hot and stuffy but no A/C and no screens on the windows to keep flys out.
