"We enjoyed our extraordinarily pleasant room, the friendliness of the staff, tha parking conditions and the breakfast. Minster Hotel is within easy walking distance to the city center. Great!"

"We had a lovely stay here. The staff were wonderful and accommating, gave us tips on places and restaurants to go to. Its only a short walk to the centre and to the riverside - extremely convenient. "The room was clean and had all the advertised amenities. Unfortunately when we stayed it was very warm and the windows only vented a little so there was no cross ventilation. The fan helped, but it was uncomfortable. The stairs were also very narrow up to the third floor and hard to navigate with large suitcases. "

"Had an issue with our room regarding a noise in the wall that started at 5am and continued we were moved next door which was quieter, wish we had known about the construction going on right outside the windows and start at 8am on weekends. Great location, and walkable into the centre, very convenient long stay public carpark just around the corner."

"Cannot rate the staff, this is a self service hotel, but it’s really easy, you’ll get a couple of codes the day of your stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist that’s exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. "Staff friendly and efficient, despite having a large but very well behaved french school party. My double room was "cozy" and would have been a squeeze for two people with 18 in bed/wall clearance one side and 30 in bed/sloping wall the other. Ok for single occupation. Access to the room was a maze."

"ヨーク・セント・ジョン大学の近くでとったのですが、市街地にも近く、すぐに城壁散歩も出来たのは良かったです。キッチンがあったので自炊をしたのですが、非常に広く使い勝手も良かったです。強いて言えば、包丁が全然切れなかったので、包丁研ぎでも置いてくれればいいのにと思いました。あと、オーブンが使えたのも良かったです。"
