Wow! What an unexpected gem of a property! The photos don't do this place justice! A lot more spacious than it looks, all the rooms are a great size including the two bathrooms. Nicely decorated, very clean and maintained to a high standard, well equipped kitchen and comfy, good sized beds. Great directions from the host and later access to the property wasn't a problem. Excellent base for exploring York, just 5 minutes drive to the park and ride, then about a 10minute bus journey into the centre of York. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage!

Very well situated for grips into York and surrounding area. Easy to catch park and ride bus. Great layout in the house and well equipped although could do with a bit more cutlery and some tongs that work! A really good place to stay

Lovely location, lots of places to visit, park & ride just a few minutes away and a 12 min ride to city centre. Property has all the amenities, including a laundry room. Very clean and smell as you walk in is fresh and citrus, just sofas a little tired and although beds comfortable look is a little old fashioned. Constant hot water, with choice of walk in power shower and bath. Would definitely isit again.

Lovely 4 night stay

Really lovely property and enough space for 5 of us. Everything was as described and clean. We had a fabulous 4 night stay and a great location. It was easy to get to York, McArthur Glen and Scarborough. We would definitely return, the owners are lovely and the bonus, a little farm shop.
