Rear garden with patio and garden furniture. Barbecue. Bike store. 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Adults only.. The cottage is warmed throughout with underfloor heating and has a well-equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar, great for socialising. Both bedrooms are good sized with Smart TVs and presenting plush king size beds fitted with fresh cotton sheets guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. Each bedroom is accompanied by an en-suite shower room with a spacious shower.



Grange Garth Cottage is a stylish and modern stable conversion set in the traditional picturesque riverside village of Naburn, located just outside the historic city of York. Recently renovated by the owners in 2022 to a high standard, Grange Garth Cottage is accessed by a private drive and offers exceptional privacy. Contemporary modern comforts set in a charming environment this property provides the perfect setting for friends or couples to have a peaceful and relaxing retreat. South facing, open plan living space filled with natural light all the year round. The living area extends onto a large private patio through two sets of patio doors - perfect for having a glass of fizz on those long summer evenings or cosy winter nights in front of the Smart TV on comfortable sofas.



With Grange Garth Cottage located less than 5 miles from York city centre, you have quick access to one of the most visited cities outside of London which is popular throughout the year with numerous festivals and magical Christmas markets. York offers many attractions to visit including the iconic minster, Railway Museum, Cliffords Tower and step back in time at the Jorvik Centre and the Castle Museum. Stroll along the cobbles down the world-famous Shambles or take one of the terrifying night-time ghost walks which are a must. This vibrant city is bursting at the seams with delightful restaurants, traditional inns serving real ales and a wide choice of tea shops including the famous Betty’s Tea Rooms. It is also a shopper’s paradise with a wealth of independent shops. For avid shoppers the Designer Outlet shopping centre is located just 2 miles from Naburn. The centre consists of numerous designer stores and eatery places.



Grange Garth Cottage also has plenty of scenic walks right on its doorstep, including a cycle path directly into York and surrounding areas. A country pub within walking distance which serves local ales and a bite to eat and further along the lane is York Marina Waterfront Cafe, serving food or coffee and cake which can be enjoyed on the terrace while watching the boats go by. Alternatively, Tea by the Locks offers tea coffee and cake, with a short walk along the riverbank.

Absolute gem of a cottage

Grange Garth cottage exceeded all our expectations. The place is spotlessly clean, fabulous furnishings, ideally located for York and surrounding areas and very peacefully placed near Naburn village, the locks and the marina. Parking on site for 2 cars. Lovely large comfy lounge/living space with 2 beautiful bedrooms (plenty of storage), king size beds with ( lovely bedding on) with identical en-suites. Kitchen facilities second to none. Massive enclosed garden area for our dog to safely run around in. Marvellous hosts, Catherine and Peter went over, above and beyond to make us feel welcome - cakes and goodies well received on arrival followed by further tasty treats. Will defo re-visit.
