  • Holly Cottage es una hermosa casa de campo independiente del siglo XVIII, bellamente presentada, ubicada en una de las aldeas más populares del parque nacional North York Moors. Esta cabaña construida en piedra ofrece un alojamiento espacioso y es una encantadora casa familiar con todas las comodidades que necesita. En la planta baja hay una amplia sala de estar con estufa de leña, suficientes asientos cómodos para 8 personas y puertas dobles que dan al jardín cerrado que tiene hermosas vistas sobre el pueblo. Esto lleva a un amplio garaje y conduce con mucho espacio para estacionar 2 autos.

    Hay un comedor y cocina separados, guardarropa en la planta baja con inodoro y lavabo y un amplio hall. El primer tramo de escaleras conduce a la primera habitación doble con ventanas de doble aspecto con vistas al valle y al pueblo. El siguiente dormitorio también es una habitación doble con hermosas vistas sobre el valle. Hay un baño grande en este piso con una ducha separada y una bañera con patas y una habitación doble grande con una cama con dosel y un baño privado con ducha, inodoro y lavabo. También hay un televisor de pantalla plana en esta habitación. El segundo tramo de escaleras lo lleva a la habitación del ático del segundo piso, que es una habitación doble muy grande con excelentes vistas del pueblo y el valle.

    Hutton-le Hole está situado en uno de los pueblos más pintorescos del Parque Nacional North York Moors. Este hermoso pueblo tiene varias tiendas de regalos, una tienda de chocolates, una tienda de velas, una tienda de artesanías, muchos salones de té y un pub recientemente renovado que sirve excelente comida y todo a pocos minutos a pie de la cabaña. También hay un museo galardonado en el corazón del pueblo que bien merece una visita. Muchos visitantes pasan los días de verano con un picnic junto al arroyo.

    Holly Cottage está amueblada y decorada con un alto nivel y es el refugio perfecto para que familias y amigos se relajen y disfruten del pueblo y sus alrededores. ¡Wifi gratuito también incluido para aquellos que lo necesitan!

Beautiful property perfect for an extended family. Everything that we needed was at the property and Liz was so prompt in answering my questions. We will definitely be back again soon.

Beautiful well equipped cottage in a prime location for walks and local pub. The Cottage fully met our requirements as a large adult family and one very small dog. Highlight was the large open plan kitchen and breakfast bar. Loved the garage for extra storage. Managed to get 3 cars (1 estate and 2 average size) on the enclosed drive. Stayed many years in Rosedale Abbey but would definitely recommend location with a fantastic pub ‘The Crown’.

Its location was great and easy communication with the host and management. The house is wonderful and the local pup that does lovely meals is a hop skip and jump away. Some lovely walks on your doorstep. This location is well worth a look.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful village

Holly Cottage was the perfect stay for our family of 8 for Christmas. The house gave us more than enough space and the village is beautiful. There are many walks and lovely country pubs to visit nearby. We’d love to stay again one time.

Fabulous home for a family holiday.

Beautiful, spacious cottage. Ideal for a family weekend away. Set in a gorgeous village (can highly recommend the food in the pub). The cottage had everything we needed and was immaculate. I would definitely visit again.

Second visit

Loved this property so much last year we decided to book it again. It's in a beautiful spot and the cottage has everything we needed. The sun shone so we could enjoy the garden 😎

Perfect!

It was better than even described and the perfect idea of a Yorkshire cottage. We have been visitors to the area for over 30 years and the cottage is well kept, clean, cozy and in an ideal location. And the host was easy to access whenever we needed anything (like showing us how to work the fireplace, etc).

Perfect cottage in perfect location

Holly Cottage is a wonderful home from home. Everything you could need is provided, lots of space for everyone and a brilliant garden that’s was full secure for our little dog. Steps away from the moors with great walks from the doorstep. Would recommend to anyone looking for a country getaway. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful stone cottage in picturesque village

Lovely spacious cottage with lots of space for our family of 4 plus grandparents. Off street parking. Pub and breakfast/lunch options all less than 5 mins walk. Museum of rural life also worth a visit. Property managers were responsive to a couple of requests we had pre visit.

A lovely cottage, old fashioned and quirky in places yet modern kitchen and fixtures, good light and airy bedrooms with comfortable beds (slept well). Tempremental signal for mobile phones - you may regard this as a bonus. Good walking locally and decent pub nearby.

What can i say the most amazing cottage ..spacious, beautiful kitchen truly the hub of the house ..beautifully maintained with a spacious dog friendly garden ..everything provided for quality family time ..Cottage is in prime position in this beautiful village.. We were lucky enough to be able to take part in the annual fund raising duck race ..and enjoy the hospitality at the local pub where you receive a friendly welcome and gorgeous food..There's lots of beautiful places to visit on your doorstep or little further afield but me and my family were happy to enjoy being together at this lovely property..Thankyou clclise to all amenities

Excellent property

This is a lovely cottage. It is exactly as advertised. All the rooms are very clean and inviting. Very spacious. It was an ideal place to spend my special birthday with friends. I would definitely stay again and have no hesitation in recommending it to other people. The village is lovely. It's an ideal base to explore further afield.

Fantastic cottage, lovely location

Holly Cottage didn't disappoint. Looks fantastic in the pictures and is just as nice in reality. The kitchen in particular is a great space but whole house has a nice relaxing feel. Very clean and well maintained. Hutton le Hole is a great base for the Moors and coast. Good walks from the village. Crown serves superb Sunday roast! Highly recommended.

Perfect large cottage. Walks on door step

Holly Cottage is a mix of old and new with plenty of space for 7 adults who went to walk and catch up with each other.The photos don’t quite do it justice. Kitchen is large and has absolutely everything you may need. Heated floor lovely in the winter.The lounge has an easy to light log burner, so make sure you use it.We didn’t move the cars once we arrived, as so many beautiful walks right from the front door.A 2 minute walk to the village pub The Crown, serving really good food and the staff were very friendly and welcoming so ate here twice. Highly recommend staying at Holly Cottage and we will definitely return either with family or friends.

Lovely Village fabulous base to explore

We loved our stay at Holly Cottage, the kitchen is fabulously equipped, and house has a welcoming friendly decor. The kitchen and snug is a fabulous place to gather and where we spent a lot of our time. Parking at the property was easy, and plenty of room for our 2 cars - but with a car park just around the corner it would be easy with more vehicles. Lovely base to explore so many interesting places. Local cafe just acroos the road was great for bread and milk supplies. Nothing not to love at the cottage. like. more cars. jutst

Lovely Cottage

Holly Cottage is a well equipped cottage, with everything you could need, in a very typical pretty Yorkshire village. Very comfortable, and a good wood burner in the sitting room, making it cosy, although the kitchen area was also so nice we spent a lot of time in there too. Very comfortable beds in good sized bedrooms too. Hutton Le Hole is a pretty village, with easy access to good roads for travel to the coast and York, but with plenty to do in the immediate area too, including Castle Howard being only 20 minutes or so away. The moors are only a step away from the cottage, making dog walks a pleasure, and the local pub is good, I can recommend their Sunday lunch! We travelled as a 3 generation family, and it was perfect for all of us, even our dog. We would like to return in the future and hope that the next time we visit it has stopped raining!

Stunning house in beautiful location

Generally a great holiday, in a clean and spacious house. Big well equipped kitchen and lots of other extras around the house. Beautiful and useful garden space that was secure for our dog. Unfortunately the BBQ was dirty and tools substandard. We needing a gas refil- the owner, when asked, expected us to refill at our own expense ( 60). Whilst we found the housekeeper living next door very pleasant we did find it rather intrusive when she came into the property grounds daily to empty bins or do her washing. We did not appreciate her hedge cutting when we were sitting in the garden- felt like we were being monitored. All in all a lovely holiday but perhaps the housekeeper could be more discrete. Absolutely Love the sheep in Hutton le Hole.

Nice stay with some issues

8 of us (4 adults and 4 children under 10 years) stayed here for 4 nights over New Year. Pros - Large, bright, modern kitchen with under floor heating and plenty kitchenware. - EV charging and parking for 2 large cars - Large living room with log burner - 4 good sized bedrooms, 1 with ensuite. - Downstairs toilet - Good sized dining room with seating for 6-8 people - Great location in the heart of Hutton le Hole - nice welcome gifts on arrival - thank you. Cons - Check in time of 1700 is really too late. I've never stayed at another property with such a late check in. It makes things a challenge arriving with 4 young children in late December - the downstairs snug area appeared to have some form of leak/condensation problem - from arrival part of the rug was sopping wet and stayed this way for the majority of the stay (water was coming up from the tiles). This must have been known before our stay as there are water stains in the room and other mats down to mask the issue. - on the 3rd night we lost power to the sockets in the living (same side of house as wet snug area - suspect there's a problem with water ingress on that side of house). The host did respond when we raised this and suggested we speak to housekeeper about running another cable into room. - lots of condensation/damp on windowsill in bedroom on same side of house. Not ideal to have a sopping wet flannel on the windsill with a note advising of condensation. Other points - check out of 0930 would have meant a very early start but the host kindly offered a later checkout when we asked.

Magnificent stay in a lovely cottage in a friendly small village

We, two adult parents, stayed for a week in this lovely cottage with our three children and their partners (7 in Total) and were really happy. We felt at home. Great kitchen, well equipped, and even a TV in the kitchen, in the living room and in the bedroom to watch the World Championships soccer. Best pub nearby where we had ‘Sunday lunch’ (roast beef and Yorkshire pudding). Great surroundings. The rain was sometimes heavy, but did not bother us really. Good contacts with the owners about small problems that we encountered.
