"Amazing little hotel tucked in to a famous, cute and bustling street market. Really great place to stay for a few nights to explore Beijing. Walkable (3km) to Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square and in the heart of the traditional hutongs. The room was really nice for a family of 4. 2 king beds and a nice patio/balcony. 8 bottles of water refreshed daily and free fresh coffee and tea in the lobby. But the most amazing thing was the staff! They were all so helpful but especially Ella and Anna....

"Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Zimmer war schön und sauber. Das Frühstück etwas klein, aber für jeden was dabei. Man konnte sogar Frühstück mitnehmen wenn keine Zeit zum Essen war. Auch das Personal war sehr hilfreich und alle waren höflich. Julia und Wendy haben uns sehr nett empfangen und verabschiedet. :)"

"This is a very traditional Chinese style hotel tucked in the middle of an alley. 1/4 mile walking distance to main street with many restaurants (primarily hot pot type) and shops. Hotel is clean, quiet, spacious, and basic amenities. Staff is incredibly friendly abs helpful."

"The hotel itself was comfortable. The room was ok. staff did their job efficiently. However, there are a couple of important things that I felt let it down. Everything is in Chinese ...I would suggest an English translation..this would make life easier for Western visitors. Also the internet was very unreliable and spotty . If these things are considered then it would be a major improvement"

"We loved the location. It is in a beautiful, quaint neighborhood, very near to main attractions like the Forbidden City. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. It is fun to stay in a place with so much character. Our kids loved staying in the upstairs loft. We would definitely stay here again. "
