"Checking in and out a breeze. We are not computer people so when every thing is done through apps or web sites makes it tougher but worth it. The Home was clean, well maintained, and had all comforts of home. Pool was well maintained. location to our hunting area was great. Found everything in working order. Brownies that were on the table was nice to see and tasted great. Would deffently stay here again if ever in the area."

"We got this house for a weekend getaway for my son 8th birthday . It’s a perfect house for a staycation . We loved the pool, volleyball was perfect for our family all we did was play games over and over . Loved they provided propane for the bbq pit and wood for the fire pit. They also left us a carton of eggs so many things to do here. I haven’t stayed in a house with a fully equipped kitchen as this one . "We stayed at the Barta house for a weekend in May. House was very cleaned, the kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable. The location was good and the neighborhood was quiet. We will stay here again. "

"We had such a relaxing time staying here. Our host Tracy went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. The fresh lemonade, cinnamon rolls, farm fresh eggs, coffee bar, and the extensive amenities of the house itself create the perfect getaway. "This place met ALL expectations! You can't find a better place to get away from every day hustle and bustle! The family really enjoyed being outdoors in the pool, grilling and also catching fish as well as watching the deer and other critters. The house is well kept and stocked with all that's needed for an enjoyable stay!"

"Pros- Very clean, peaceful, and nicely decorated. Asthethically, very beautiful.Cons- Our bathroom towels in master bath were damp, and the person who lives across the street parks directly at the end of the driveway making it difficult for vehicles to back out of the driveway. Overall, we definitely recommend staying with this host and would stay again. Thank you! "

"The rooms are nice size, there is not fenced in yard! if you plan to cook bring your own pots, pans and just about everything else the kitchen is not well stocked"

"This house was perfect for a weekend trip with family. The layout was great for us (3 couples) and the backyard was comfortable to sit around the fire and stargaze. "

"The Cozy Pea was perfect for our visit to Shiner for family events. Had plenty of space. Property is convenient to town and Shiner family. Very clean with all the amenities we needed. The Byrds are great hosts. Will stay here again when visiting in the future."

"Our family took our 79 year old mom to see the painted churches. We all stayed at The Hideaway. It was so beautiful and peaceful. We all enjoyed spending time out on the porch just enjoying nature and family time. This place is so nice and clean and our host was very courteous and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!"
