"I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave."

"We had to abandon trip due to an emergency tried to move the booking to the following weekend. Initially hotel suggested it was possible but then decided it wouldn’t. Expedia staff were excellent in trying to assist. we understand the terms of the booking but as a frequent traveller the first time we have found a hotel operator to be inflexible which is a shame. As we weren’t able to complete the visit unable to comment on the rest of the facilities but unlikely to choose stop at a days inn...

"Parking was easy and very safe. It was easy to find and central to everything. Just 5 mins in a car from town centre the staff were all lovely and very welcoming. The room was very clean with everything you need. Would definatly stay again"

"When i arrived i was sent the code to the key safe to get the keys. When I opened it there was no key in the safe. Having phoned the contact number and cutting a long story short a member of staff had gone off with the keys in his pocket. Also there was no shower gel in the shower. The kitchen is communal and the walls are not thick and I was awaken by the sound of cups being knocked together at approximately 6 am."

"I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process"

"To be fair, this is apparently one of the oldest pubs in the area so it's dated interior kept with the theme. The staff were friendly but you might have to wait for service at the bar or restaurant, or reception. The bar - ran out of draught cider (on an early Friday evening) The restaurant ran out of sirloin on an early yes you guessed it Friday evening. There was a definite whiff of ganja on the 1st floor accomodation hallway. The room was small, hot and the bed had an extremely soft...

"Welcoming staff, the room was great with a relaxing view of the country park. Hardly any noise heard, which is always good. Good breakfast selection. Also, accessible disabled parking and all areas were accessible. "
