"Was working in the area for a couple of weeks and rented this place. I liked it. It was quiet, nested in the middle of a countryside, away from most city noises and traffics. The hosts were easy to communicate and were easy to reach if I had any questions. I was not trying to do much cooking, so a chef's kitchen wasn't mandatory for me, but your plans may differ. All in all, I'd stay here again if the availability and work timing would coincide again"

"Everything about this stay was better than expected. A beautiful home, in a beautiful location. Wineries, waterfalls, and endless fires in every direction. And it was the most peaceful sleep I’ve ever had. Amanda was very helpful with any questions that came up. The home was beautiful and spotless, and had everything we needed for a longer stay. I plan on seeking her guest house for any time I have a relatives come stay to visit."

"Not sure if VRBO , EXPEDIA or the host were responsible but the house was booked out from under us. We did not find out until late afternoon the day of check in. We were stranded 2 hours away from home. All hotels in the area were booked because of Fathers Day weekend. Yes, I did get a full refund. This was the worst experience I've ever had. Not sure I will ever use any of them again"

Others have written about the compost toilet - just be prepared for a new experience! Also, I’m 6’ and bald. I had to wear my cap indoors to keep from scraping my head on the low edging.
