"This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. Not a huge deal, but we were happy to have our room with the bathroom. All...

"We were visiting for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us. What a treat to have a pet friendly rental with a fenced in yard! The house was very clean and spacious, The master closet was huge and we could conveniently hang all our dress clothes. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. We stocked up with groceries and snacks near by in Grimes. This was a great spot for us to relax after the hustle and bustle of wedding events. The hosts were wonderful! We would...

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful, family-friendly home. The décor was beautiful—featuring a great mix of classic styles with tasteful, subtle updates. The house was spotless and the temperature was perfect. The bathrooms also combined older charm with modern conveniences. After a long journey and arriving later than expected, everyone felt comfortable, well-rested, and at ease. Our host was attentive and accommodating when we shared our delayed arrival, and she made the check-in...

"The house itself was beautiful. It was very clean and was decorated really cute. There were three bathrooms to go with the four bedrooms, so everyone had their own private space which was really nice. House was in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area."
