"The accommodation itself couldn't be faulted. Friendly staff, fresh towels daily, all very nice. I would however strongly recommend an out-of-hours point of contact in the event of getting locked out of the room. In fairness, it's entirely my own fault that I locked myself out to begin with (won't be forgetting that mistake in a hurry). But if it wasn't for an upstairs tenant being able to get hold of the correct person to let me back in, I would've had no choice but to try to sleep...

"Listing description is accurate. Nicely outfitted with welcome treats, coffee pods, kitchen tools, and private parking. Your legs will be more toned after a few days on account of the stairs. Wisteria in the back garden was in bloom, lovely. Located right on the High Street so a short walk to all shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, etc. Supermarket was very close by for groceries. The house is set well back from the tree-lined road so it's quiet. Occasional noise of neighbours in their unit but...

"The arrival instructions initially gave us the wrong code for the keysafe.This was quickly resolved by messages with the host and we were able to access the premises after a very short wait outside.The interior was as described and in good order. Nice art work throughout.We had an issue with the shower draining away slowly and the cleaning team gave us some bicarbonate of soda - which partially did a job.On our final day the smoke alarm started sounding, which we managed to turn off by standing...

"Lovely self contained property, in beautiful position right on the Syndale Valley trail and 2 miles from Doddington Gardens, well worth a visit. Property contained every facilitiy required, bath and walk in shower, plentiful hot water and comfy bed. Breakfast produce left for first morning which was a lovely touch, hosts very good, there but not too intrusive - a wonderful stay."
