"Host Dimitri was particularly helpful and friendly. The view from our (large) balcony was breathtaking. The appartment was very well equipped and the pool was lovely."

"As advertised, this is a 2-level, 2-bedroom apartment literally steps from the sea. A steady breeze blew over the Aegean as we stared at Monemvasia. Beds were comfortable. There are two bathrooms, and a kitchen we barely used. Nice outdoor seating and table. A great place to slow down and enjoy the view. Just a few things to know ... the beach is rocky and the waves 1-3 feet high so it's different from some beaches ... no wifi and cell service is spotty ... about 10 minute easy drive to...

"Een leuk hotel vlak bij de verbinding maar de oude stad. Prima kamer met zee zicht. Zo te zien gerenoveerd. Heel vriendelijke staf. Omtbijt buffet was uitgebreid met veel natuur producten. Helaas geen bacon en eggs. Wel een koude ommelet en een soort scrambled egg met kruiden. Smakelijk maar niet helemaal mijn ding. Maar a met sl prima Monemvassia vonden we ook erk leuk"

"We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

"The Akrotiri Hotel was really good, so much so that we stayed longer than planned. The host Timus was very accommodating explaining that the breakfast was €7 extra per person despite the booking site stating that it was free but the receipt was ambiguous in that respect. The who are was very clean and tidy with fantastic beaches that we had largely to ourselves given it was still early in the season with clean public toilets at most beaches and towns. Regrettably a few inconsiderate camper vans...

"To start with the (only a few) positives: - The property manager was forthcoming and friendly. - Location of the property is ok: Elafonisos is 10 minutes by car + 10 minutes by ferry away; Kastania cave, Petrified forest and Monemvasia are all 30-40 minutes away. The nearest town, Neapoli, is 5 mins away (all by car). However, the neighbourhood itself is less than scenic, a dirt coastal road leads you to the property. Nowhere to go on foot. "Everything was as described. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Mara. I hurt myself hiking during our stay and Mara got me ice and offered to take me to the hospital and the owner checked in on me and brought me an ice pack. We didn’t expect to need assistance during our stay and it was great to feel so well taken care of."
