Was a very nice place economical in the heart of the Clearwater fun scene. The beach is very small, but however, you are have close access to another beach. One thing I will warn anybody who comes do not have a huge vehicle very hard to park full-size truck parking is very limited and small.

This property is still under renovation from an old Red Roof Inn to a new Quality Inn. The lobby, breakfast room and a few guest rooms have been completed, but they've go a ways to go yet before they are finished. There are large containers all around the parking lot and men working on completion. Our room was a HUGE improvement over the old and was quit nice and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great and there was a truly large screen tv with good sound and access to a couple of movie Apps. There was also a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I really liked and shower stall and bath fixtures, the instant hot water and water pressure. I will stay here again twice a year coming and going to family and can recommend it unreservedly.

This is a motel, not a hotel and it is in a horrible area. The phone does not work, the tv does not work, the floors in the room are horrible. I do not feel safe leaving the room. This is hands down the worst motel I have ever stayed in.

Took 15 mins before anyone showed up at the front desk so I could check in. The room smelled bad, tub shower was dirty. I checked back out that day I couldn’t sleep there.

Smoke detectors laying on table not connected. Microwave not plugged in and new one in the box sitting on counter. Other guests on hallways had grills and coolers and chairs outside the rooms. They were grilling and partying. It made me feel unsafe. The checkin employee just handed me a key and gave directions to my room that were not complete. Did not ask for ID or vehicle info.

Room should be condemned- smoke alarm hanging from wire, black mold in bath, phone dirty. Just not a place you would want to stay any time in. Notice on check-in that you had 10 min to get your money back was a real clue on how bad the place was. Lots of rooms with X in tape on doors - also a clue on how bad the place was. STAY AWAY

My hotel room was terrible the towels were dirty and there were no tissues to be found and no trash can in my room. It was the worst place l have ever stayed. I expect a total refund.

I am very sorry to say that I was not at all pleased with my stay at this particular Red Roof Inn. The front desk agent had zero customer service skills and almost seemed annoyed that she actually had to do some work for my check-in. And then, there was the room. It was convenient to go to our car from it, since we were able to park right outside our door. But, the room itself was disgraceful. First, there was mold everywhere. The worst being outside and above the bathroom door. Inside the bathroom, there was peeling paint and more mold. But, that wasn't even the worst of it. The worst was all the cockroaches running around the room. They were EVERYWHERE! And, I do mean everywhere. Along the walls, on the bathroom sink, all along the floor. I even had several running along the desk while I was trying to do some computer work. It was disgusting! Honestly, if I wasn't so exhausted after such a long drive and had another option of a place to stay, I would have checked out right there and then. The only place they didn't seem to be was on top of the bed. I had to shake out my clothes and sneakers and check my luggage to make sure we weren't taking any uninvited guests with us when we left. Thankfully, we planned on only being there for that one night. Needless to say, we are never going back there ever again. I would rather sleep in my car then to go through that ordeal again. The only good thing I can say about the property, was that it was quiet. Sad, really!

The first room (ground floor) had water leaking from the bath room ceiling everything was damp and smelled. The second room did not smell. But if we had not been so tired and the fact that it was dark and raining we would have looked for something better. Also the outside smelled like dog urine.

The sheets were stained and had stuff on them. No microwave or mini fridge in the room as it was stated in the amenities when I booked the room. The bathroom shower had about 4-5 used bars of soap on the rim of the shower enclosure. Nobody was at the desk to make a complaint. The breakfast area was empty. No coffee, nothing stocked. We will never stay at a RedRoof Inn again…absolutely disgusting! Seemed like young kids were running the place and felt the need to be outside working on cars, smoking and leaving a bucket on the desk to deposit your key card….

Just a heads up...many roaches. No wash cloths & staff member said he has no access to towels etc so he gave us a key to check in the room next door only to find it occupied! We'll bypass Red Roof next time.
