"The view of the cove from the deck was great and a short walk to the deck and water. The cove was shallow but we were able to dock the pontoon. The house is a short boat ride to town. It felt like we were in the woods but actually in a neighborhood. I would stay there again. "

"We had a great stay. We had my 84 year old father and mother and three adult children and spouses and 2 adult grandkids with their spouses. The house was plenty big enough and the walk to the dock was nice and flat. We stayed in June during a massive heatwave in the upper 90s each day. We would like to come back in the fall. The kitchen was stocked with everthing imaginable and loads of china. My mother was so excited. We ate on different china for each meal. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lake front property. The house accommodated 3 generations of our family. The basement was perfect for the teenagers and kids. They enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey tables. We brought our boat and enjoyed so much time on the water, as well as floating, swimming and fishing from the dock. The communication from the owner was excellent and we highly recommend this vacation rental. "

"This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful location. The 1st was my husband and I in the winter and it was a perfect cozy weekend. Our 2nd trip was with family and friends for the Lakefest , which the wonderful hosts had informed of us. Everyone had an amazing time with so many lake activities to enjoy!!! "This was our second 4th of July weekend at Margo’s lovely cabin. It is perfectly located near our yearly family reunion and allows us our own space away from the rest of the crowd. Margo is a great communicator and very responsive to questions and suggestions. Kids loved the loft and we all loved the screened in sun porch. "That’s right every morning coffee/tea on front porch. Very peaceful , the traffic was sporadic which was NOT an issue. Short drive to Kerr Lake and shorter drive to Dollar General. There’s a nee Mexican restaurant that was very good and service was fast . It opened July 2025 and our party of ten had no complaints. Hope you get a chance to see the sunset and sunrise the next day. The kitchen is fully equipped with drip coffee machine, mixers,place settings, dishes,toaster and dishwasher. ...

"We loved staying at Stillwater’s! It had everything we needed and more! We made a nice campfire one night and the kids made s’mores. Easy access to the dock down a nice path. The water was high when we first got there but gradually came down as the week went on. The hot tub is an added bonus! Our host, Ada, was very quick to answer any questions we had and I enjoyed chatting with her. I would highly recommend this beautiful home to any family groups for a great lake vacation!"

"This home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation and the photos don’t do it justice! The view from the back deck is absolutely breathtaking. The dock was big enough to tie up our 2 jet skis, fish and relax for our whole family. The home provided plenty of activities to do from cornhole to kayaking and everyone slept comfortably. Host is very friendly, quick to respond and accommodating. Highly recommended this for your next family vacay. We will definitely be back! "

"Our stay at Buggs Island/Kerr Lake was nothing short of amazing! The house fit our families needs perfectly. The kids loved the air hockey table downstairs. The dock was very nice and had a great place to dock our boat and area for the kids to jump off the dock and swim. The neighbors were very friendly. "This was our second stay at this property and we thoroughly enjoyed it again!The property is clean, and the communication with the host was excellent. The people of Clarksville are so kind and welcoming. The location is great for lake activities, or exploring the area. We found some great local breweries and vinyards within reasonable distance and of course enjoyed Buggs Island Brewery for live music lakeside in the evenings. Highly recommend!!"
