"Good quiet location a few minutes walk to the city centre. Our room was clean and spacious but very scuffed around the edges. The bed was really hard and, as I have a lower back problem, I didn't get much sleep. The coffee and croissants each morning were an added bonus. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but one person was a bit surly. Car parking was £15 per night, not overly expensive, but most of the spaces were very tight to get into. Overall a reasonable place to stay."

"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area."

"The studio apartment was simply perfect. It was in an excellent location for all the activities around. Upon arrival we were met by the very lovely Carolyn. There was easy Parking within only about 20 m away from the apartment. The shower was excellent and very modern. The bed was great, and all the facilities in General worked well. The dogs were wonderful too. And the setting with the garden axis worked really well too. We loved our day and will be back!"

"This small stylish apartment is almost unbeatably located and is comfortably appointed. We would have rated it 5 stars overall except for some mildly irritating features such as the bathroom lights operating on a movement detector switch. No one enjoys the lights going off while you’re having a shower at night. The hand basin was also too small. Storage in the kitchenette was also somewhat chaotic. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and these were minor matters."
