"Charming and tastefully decorated, immaculate. Room spacious enough. Desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Continental breakfast was basic but nice (great coffee, toast, bananas, pop tarts). Only two relatively minor issues. Water pressure in our room wasn’t great, and the window unit that provided heat was very noisy. Would definitely stay again!"

"The suite we stayed in really needs updating. The shower did not match the luxurious description on the website. The carpet was in need of replacement. I literally found a large, dead roach right by the foot of the bed upon check-in -- how was this missed by housekeeping? The tvs and remotes were very difficult to navigate and internet slow. I removed the top cover from the bed, as it appeared as though not washed and used sheets and a cotton blanket. The windows really needed cleaning and...

"The hotel is conveniently located. Unfortunately, there is renovation currently going on in the lobby area, which we were unaware of when we made our reservation. "

"When I wanted to add a night they tried charging me 450$. Air conditioner was broken, and although they offered us to move it was 10pm and even though we chose not to move they were unapologetic about it. The hotel is old, but the room is well appointed. The one bright spot in the whole mix was the bartender was really nice and friendly. I would opt to stay somewhere else if I were you."

"Great place only a 6 minute drive to Colonial Williamsburg parking next to the historic buildings. Quietest room I've ever had. Older finishings but that's ok, it keeps the price down."

"I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Our room was clean, large, beds comfortable, bathroom and two sink areas were convenient. The deck was overlooking a pond and a nice place to relax after walking the restoration area. Being close to the hotel and restaurants was perfect. And, the staff were exceptional. "

"The room was small but the bed was comfortable. This was my third stay at this hotel. I had much nicer rooms in the past. Sadly we had a very early wake up by an extremely noisy trash truck outside our room at 6 am on a Saturday. This may be our last stay at this location. "
