Rio Santo Residences offers 2 charming, self-catering, fully outfitted 1-bedroom apartments, located in the very popular Worthing area on the South Coast of Barbados. Nestled in a quiet cul de sac, these units undoubtedly provide an ideal retreat from the daily hustle and bustle.

You will be able to sleep two persons in a comfortable air-conditioned bedroom and an additional person on the sofa-bed, if required.
You will also enjoy the convenience of a living area with TV; a kitchen fully-outfitted with refrigerator, four-burner stove, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, pots and pans, crockery, cutlery, etc., and a washer and dryer. Linens and towels are provided.

When you are not on the beach, you may wish to enjoy the sun’s rays on the large sun deck or relax with a cool local beverage of your choice.

Rio Santo Residences is advantageously located close to the famous St. Lawrence Gap in Barbados, and across the street from a white sandy beach, washed by the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Mere yards away is the popular Rockley Beach.

Nearby, within walking distance, are supermarkets, banks, medical offices, pharmacy, shops, hotels, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. The area is heavily trafficked, well-lighted and safe for walking.

As the property is virtually on the bus transportation route, a car is not essential but most people elect to have one, especially for sight-seeing and travel to venues outside the immediate vicinity. For those preferring not to drive themselves, taxi service is readily available.

Within ten minutes by car are the Rockley Golf Club, the National Tennis Centre, the Garrison Historic Area (including the headquarters of the Barbados Defense Force and the Garrison Savannah horse racing track), and the Museum and Historical Society. It is about 15 minutes to the capital city Bridgetown and 20 minutes to the Grantley Adams International Airport. UNESCO recently designated Bridgetown and the Garrison Historic Area as a heritage site.

The South Coast of Barbados has great appeal to the visitor. It is vibrant, with great night life and many excellent restaurants. Mojo's is next door and a short walk away is everyone's favourite Champers Restaurant and Wine Bar. The best known area is the popular St. Lawrence Gap where you can find many popular night clubs, restaurants and bars. Also within easy reach is Oistin’s Town, famous for its fresh fish fries and down-to-earth ambience.

Nice stay in Barbados

It was a way from the busy road. Mojo’s Bar in front of the property could be a little loud at night. The air conditioner in the bedroom started leaking and spitting out water. We came back after getting dinner and there was a big puddle of water on the floor even though we had turned it off. There were two green monkeys hanging around. There is a Massey’s Supermarket not far away and a food truck court where we ate several times. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will cme back.

Not as Expected

Nobody told us that MoJos, an entertainment pub next door played live bands at least 3 nights a week. The place was tired and lacked the basics; untensils, cookware, dishes,only 3 chairs at the only table, holes in the insect screens. A big challenge was little or no water from the kitchen tap and it was only cold. We had to heat water on the stove to do dishes. Anton, the site manager, was responsive however he could not fix many of the shortcomings. If the owners had any decency, we were there for almost 5 weeks, they would rebate us a reasonable portion of our rent.

Great flat, great location

The flat was perfect for two of us. Very clean and comfortable. The location was great for access to nice beaches and places to eat and enjoy live music. Anton and Nina were lovely hosts. They were always available to us if we needed anything or had questions. They truly care about providing a nice home away from home for their guests. Thank you Anton and Nina, we hope to be back soon!

A Worthing Gem

From the moment we booked the rental, Anton was always responsive and helpful. Out flight arrived several hours late but Anton made sure he met us to welcome us to the apartment. The apartment is centrally located, in walking distance from just about everything. We will happily return to stay with Anton again, if he will have us of course. A wonderful month in Barbados. Great

We totally enjoyed our stay at your apartment and look forward to returning in the near future. The owner was very accommodating. The property is within walking distance to nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Great view from the roof that overlooks the beach. You can get a bus to almost anywhere in Barbados from here. The only downfall was the noise from Mojo's at night that's just below us. Otherwise it's highly recommended.
